but he kinda asked me to have sex with him. I said no but now its kinda awkward to talk to him. What should I do?

Potential reasons for his behaviour:
1) He's joking, and you shouldn't feel awkward.
2) He was serious, and he's a jackass for asking, so you probably shouldn't be associating yourself with him.

what an extremely bizare man/a-hole. Just pretend he didn't say it and talk normally with him. If he brings up again then he is an a-hole.

Maybe the guy's just speaking his mind. Just let him be. I mean, us girls are always talking about whats on our minds "love, emotions, feelings" all that stuff. Like if guys even care about that sh*t!! Why can't guys do the same? Why can't guys speak their minds and talk about sex? girls? cars? Give him a break. Guys always do it for us.

(im not speaking as if all men and women feel an think this way)

How... extremely random. If all he's doing is getting close to you just to have a sex buddy, then I'd suggest you not do it. It could lead to complications in your relationship as friends, plus, it can already show you that that's all he has on his mind in terms of your friendship.

Tell him that you're awkward being around him. I'm sure he's picked up the hint by now. Explain your reasons, and try talking it out with him (you did mention you two did talk a lot before the big question). I can sort of sympathize with how awkward that must feel, but just hang in there.
