I like it. It's a very cute. I'm not huge fan of the light blue that was used for the text
 But I'm not sure what it would look like with blue text, like what was used in the layout. I think it's simple, too, but it's a good kind of simple.

I would suggest saving your background image as PNG or JPG, GIF is very lossy when it comes to photographic images and it shows here.
Also, it's not centered. |

There's a bunch of white space on the left. You have to scroll to the right just to see anything. (well in my browser, anyway).
