cb was my first forum, and now four years later, i wish it was the same. now i'm on some crappy bodybuilding forum and all they do is trade reps and negs and post nudes and post useless topics. no where will ever be as original and good as the old cb and i just wish all the old members would come back. i miss yall. thanks for the memories.

i miss all the e-fighting we all did. we all thought we were badass 4 years ago when we all were in middle school. now i'm heading off to college next year and i wish i were a kid again. cb will always be in my memories and i thank all of u for being here for me.

Perhaps you need to stick around here for a little while and get to know people, and then you might just see that it probably hasn't changed THAT much.

Bodybuilding forum? Is it the one where they promoted Blake Vandemerwe for that Zinch scholarship contest thing?

Elba: I said the same exact thing.

Spencer: That shit was a funny comment.

Maybe you should hang around, and see what this place has to offer now.

Hah, Corey, I can relate... 3 and a bit years on and it's weird to think how much time I've spent here cumulatively since then. Happy days, though.

I remember being on teencentre.net about six years ago. Today, other than cB, I'm on mtbr.com.

I remember when I would ask people why are they so addicted to this place back then. Was it REALLY that much better back in the day?

That's sort of what I'm thinking. To each their own, I guess. haha

Honestly, I'm not sure why I stay here. I just do. It's just one of those things. I know that there are a few people here that I love hearing from and sometimes, even with the odd drama, it's quite comical and I find myself laughing quite a bit.

I may not show it much, but I really love the resource aspect of cB. I learn a lot just by looking at showcase and at the layouts that are submitted here. Some of the things that people are able to create amaze me. There's also a number of really helpful inviduals here and they inspire me to want to learn more and try to help when I can. /end cheesy

Yes, it was. The mods had little or no sticks up their butts, the members tried less to be 'blunt' except of course for Trish the bitch. There were much better topics and of course better drama. sad.gif

Reading back on it, and checking out all the memories every one had, albeit only a glimpse of it, I'd say I miss it too. If I had been a part of it, haha.

I spent my childhood memories on Neoseeker. *shrug* I wouldn't change it for the life of me. :3

I'm sorry, but that really isn't true... it's just that different people and different friendships were in charge, and people have different perceptions.

I disagree with u rite thur. What changed the 'friendship'? Huh? The sticks in the butt did. Trish became more stupid, you guys hired me and lots of other sucky moderators, people became f**king dumb. Actually, most of the members here have sticks up their aholes too.

I meant, different groups of friends had people on staff. And we'll have to agree to disagree, because I think you're REALLY over-idealizing.

I think that in general, many people will look upon certain aspects of the past as better than now. It isn't just at cB, I see and know people that have those train of thoughts in reality.

^ Oh please, you know the time when I was still on staff, it was awesome. Jaykayz.

Eh, I like to reminisce on the past because I guess there was so much going on that everything wasn't solely based on drama. Even when drama didn't happen, the forum still went on. Plus, I think we were all w/e about a lot of things (except cB revolution + bylaws + snooping), which could be a good thing and a bad thing, and since it was smaller and a larger amount of members were active for quite some time, people were closer. We could call each other by their first names or aliases, regardless of whether we liked them or not. It wasn't as clique-y as people made it out to be.

lol back in middle school, when I was in 6-8th grade, I used to go to AsianAvenue.com. I think they had a forum there. lol Actually I still kind of went on that website when I was in 9th grade, but stopped. It was just boring and annoying. But if you think about it, that's where all the social networking and blogging started. That was way before xanga. There was even a migente.com and a blackplanet.
