Do you any of you have your own idea of a "perfect wedding"? What's it look like? How many people are invited? Where is it at? etc...

I'm going to have a wedding of about 300 people at a big cathedral.
I'll have about 15 groomsmen and what not. Everything will just be very extravagant.

Yes!
I want it in a big, beautiful, church with 200-300 people
I want everything to be traditional and very elegant
I want 4 bridesmaids and a flower girl
My dress would be strapless with an a-line cut with bead details and a train on the back and a fingertip vail
I either want some kind of blue or pink for the color
And the reception would be somewhere like a country club.

I could go on and on with this but those are just the basics.

I don't really have one...but anything that isn't in my backyard, or in las vegas, or with an elvis priest would be good for me...as long as im with the right person =)

I always wanted an all white (with green accents) wedding. My dress would be strapless with a princess silhouette. Maybe less than 200 people. Gourmet food, Sylvia Weinstock type cake with flowers cascading down it... Flowers in vases centerpieces. I'll probably have the ceremony in a church and then the reception outside or in a big fancy hall or ballroom.

Drive thru wedding, ftw. Take all money I'd spend on the wedding, and spend it on a honeymoon.

At One point I did, but then my current b/f & I talked about it & decided that we would either have it in Hawaii somewhere or just have it at my church & only close friends & fam will be invited...so it would be about 2-300 people or less esp. if I pledge & I wanted my colors for the wedding...so it's a dream until I accomplish that within the next year or so...I know I don't want to wear white; I might go for Ivory and the dress will definitely be hott...I want a wedding that's not old fashioned...My honeymoon would most definitely be out of the country, but I haven't decided where yet.

I can picture you in two sororities for some reason. I am going to pledge fall semester as well.

For now all I've thought about was:
-In a Church and Outside
-Ivory and Deep/Crimson Red
-Cool Summer day/ Early Fall
-Family traditional reception/prewedding

Ehh i don't know haha, but there is still time :]

i would have actually thought of two weddings, lol. because my "boyfriend" and i were an interracial couple. i'm chinese and he's hispanic.

so for his part: the nice church, 150-200 people, the traditional white dress and black tux. probably 3 or 4 bridesmaids, because i love my girls. if i could have a best man, i would have the perfect two. biggrin.gif and i do want a flower girl too. lol. i think i already have in mind of who it could be. the food.. i want the food to be something familiar so i know everyone will eat it, not that hamburger crap, something nice because these people are family.

i think i would love the wedding to be outside as well, but on a nice day. not in the summer, maybe in the late spring. i was thinking around august since it was our anniversary date but i'm not too sure if i want it in the fall.

and then on my part: the traditional chinese wedding. because my mom will kill me if i don't do that part. i guess i'll be doing it for myself too. _smile.gif

I used to have this marriage in Italy thing to be THE one, but since then have changed my mind due to the current's wishes. =\

I still want it to be in Italy, in a catholic church, with my family and friends (not too big of a wedding, but not extremely small, either). I want my maid of honor to be my best friend, and my brides maids to be members of my family. They'll be dressed in light/pale green dresses that match my wedding dress. No more than four of them.

The ring bearer would either be my nephew, or my current's nephew, and the flower girl would have to be my niece. :) She's going to have a little tiara as she walks down the isle. The groom and his best man will be dressed in black, with matching bows. Standard marriage procedures, and the normal vows (unless he wants to make his own vows to me, which would be undeniably sweet and would probably make me tear up during the ceremony xD). Traditional Catholic wedding. :)

The reception would take place in a small ballroom (I only say ballroom for lack of other descriptive words for it) not far away from in, in an old looking Italian building. Food would be adjusted to mine and the groom's liking, and would also cater to vegetarians, etc. The honeymoon is going to be in Capri, Italy. :)

If that dream fails, however, I'd like to have a Catholic marriage somewhere in Southern California in a pretty cathedral, same as above, just a different location.

if i ever decide to get married, my perfect wedding would be very very small. only close family and very few friends (no more than 50/75 people). something simple yet classy. i would have maybe 3 bride's maids (including my maid of honor) and a of course a flower girl & ring bearer. i'd love for the colors to be white & lilac. a very elegant strapless off-white dress and an outdoor wedding in the spring seems nice.

I'd love to have it like they do in movies, when the bride goes down the church aisle (even though I'm not Christian) and the groom is awaiting for her. It'd be cool to have it outside with a nice white dress. And pastel green. throb.gif I'd invite my closest friends and his/hers and family of course. Hm...haven't really thought about this as much as I've thought about my kids.

oh lord, don't get me started! laugh.gif

well, just for the heck of it, i'll answer your question. biggrin.gif

i really want it to be old fashioned meaning 1920's cars sort of like this:
& i kind of want to wear something like this:
it won't look like that, but something of that nature.

i just picture myself, up on the altar, in my white dress, with red lipstick. i really want to go for that vintage look. _smile.gif

but okay i'll stop here because otherwise i'll be here typing forever! LOL

(excuse me if nothing i type makes any sense, because i busted two of my fingers today playing foootballl)

ive thought of mine alot lately..
id want it to be in the summer, in my grandparents garden. next to all the coloful zinnas and whatnot. i think that's what i'd want my boquet to be. all different colors. and a simpler dress. i'd say only 50 or so people, but my family is HUGE and i'd hit the 200 mark easily with just cousins. but i love them, so of course i'd want them there. i have no clue how they would fit, but its my dream wedding, i can do what i want. whistling.gif
