okies, so me and my bestest guyfriend (knew each other for 2 years before dating)
have been dating for 2 months as of today =).. and he's the sweetest-grestest guy any girl could have. and he started liking me ever since freshmen year (now sophomores). he's already said "i love you" to me, and i just reacted "already???" and omggg, i feel so stupid!!!..okay, i never ever said "i love you" to any guy yet! and i don't know when to say "i love you" to him, i'm not really sure how to. and i'm not sure if i do love him, YET. so uhh yeahhh, i definitely need help! |

and believe me girl you'll know it. you'll know when, and how.. because it'll come out..hopefully he understands he has to wait and not everyone falls in love so fast like him. so if he can be patient and wait for you to love him back..he's cool. cause some guys like to say well you dont love me back? its over.. cause they are dumb. it's always nice to love someone and have them love you back too though..
 dont feel pressured though.

Deffinately don't say it just because he said it to you. Even though that seems like the "fair" thing it isn't. If you feel that way, than by all means go ahead and say it. And since you've heard it from him, he's already broke the ice there... so you know he isn't going to freak out.

my boyfriend said i love you before i did. and he didn't rush me into saying it. which made me adore him even more.
 you shouldn't say it unless you know for sure because you don't want to lead him on. this isn't one of those "hey friend, i love you!" so it needs to be felt with the heart, and not just a thought in your head. right now, just enjoy being with him and spending time with him. eventually you'll probably feel the same and say it too.  and happy month-iversary.

you've only been going out with him for 2 months. give yourself more time to open up to each other and develop a strong connection first. don't say "i love you" when you're unsure. wait until you truly feel it :)

i think i'll just take everything as it goes. and i'm sure he would definitely understand, he never pressures me into anything =D *he's too much of a sweetie to...and i'll definitely tell him when i know it for sure. I care about him alot, i really do, and he means alot to me - but it's not enough to where i love him yet. I truly believe the word "love" isn't a term to play around with. But, there are times when i do feel bad because i never ever said it to him yet, but then again i don't want to lead him on with it just to be fair. But I'll definitely wait until it comes... Thanks again, everyone! What would I do without you guys??? =D |

You shouldn't have to ask yourself whether or not you love him. Don't rush things. Say it when you mean it. Just let it flow and when you do, try to avoid "I need to tell you something...".

Clearly! if you made this topic, you're not ready to say it yet, so don't...no one can tell you how to say it or when to say it; that defeats the purpose...it's a strong word & should be used carefully & wisely...if you don't mean it then keep it out of your mouth unless you're talking about love in a just friends or fam type of way
