saying goodbye, was this the right decision? Options

I had this boyfriend and he broke up with me but I still liked him a little...actually a LOT. I thought he still liked me because he was really friendly to me even afterwards and he still sort of acted as if he was my boyfriend... Then, we had this big formal dance, and I was just sort of making sure that he wasn't dancing with anyone else...(because I still liked him..) and he kept smiling at me even when I wasn't looking at him. He sort of looked as if he was going to ask me to dance but didn't have the courage to. At the end of the dance, I went to the other side of the room (and the last slow dance was playing) and I suddenly saw him holding this other girl's waist..and I was like "wtf" because he usually is way too shy to tell any girl his feelings. He's like a very shy guy (or so I thought) and then they started dancing. I was so sad, I was about to burst out crying but I didn't because I tried my hardest to keep it in. Then, he kept talking to me about her even online. Like he just kept saying "hey do you know I danced with ____? It was so cool...blah blah blah" Every word he said kept tearing me apart. He never danced with me...he never hugged me or did anything like that even when he was my b/f . So the next day, he IMmed me saying "hi" and I couldn't take it anymore so I said "Hey ____, I need to tell you something." And he said "What?" and I said, "I can't talk to you anymore. I don't know if you'll understand this now, but you might later if you think about it. Have a good life. Bye forever.." Then, I blocked him after I gave him a few minutes to say something but he didn't say anything. And I don't know if that was the best thing to do, but I'm trying to get over him by not talking to him at all. He's moving this summer, anyway and I said bye to him even before he moved. Was this a bad choice or a good one? I really want to forget about him.

if you were desperate to move on andfelt like you had no other choice, you did the righ thing honey. sometimes when it comes to the person who really like, we need to let go completely to ever leave our minds. i know i had a guy i loved, we went out and he just f**ked me over really good. we cursed each other out and swore to each other we would never speak to each other again, and it really helped. i got over him more and more faster than ever. i still aren't completely over it, but i can move on with my life without thinking about him.

you did the right thing, don't worry. he's just a guy, you'l find plenty of them everywhere else. goodluck and feel better. guys are sometimes so immature. God :T *hug

i guess you should have told him how you felt and let him explain and give his views. i mean, it would have been more fair to yourself even to hear what he had to say and then maybe you could let go without thinking to yourself, did i chose the wrong path. don't beat yourself up okay. there are many guys in the sea. i bet God had better plans for you. good luck!

Well...I think maybe I should have but you see, if he sees that I still talked to him after I told him that I would never talk to him again, won't he think that I like him? I don't want him to ever know that though.

forget promises! CALL HIM! not aim. just make an excuse saying "i promise not to talk to you on AIM"

just tell him how you honestly feel to him on the phone, or if you can, in person. just SPILL OUT on him and cry if you can. he DESERVES to know and to feel bad about what he did. and if he doesn`t....FREAKIN` BASTARD! slap him or just hang up the phone.

i mean...at that dance....when he danced with that girl and BRAGGED about it to your face. and what`s even worse is that he didn`t do those things with you...damn....that`s a JERK right there.

wow...you guys, i just found out that he blocked me too. oh well, i think it's actually a good thing that we both blocked each other?...
Also, the girl who he likes, she blocked him haha. She doesn't like him, either. I'm so glad that he's finally feeling what I felt...hmph..
