how would you feel if you got a phonecall from someone telling you that one of your good friends got arrested? keep in mind that this someone is someone you REALLY care about. and lets say, the odds are him getting arrested that day or night are more than likely. how would you feel?

pretty damn worried, huh?

now imagine how it would feel if you found out like an hour after worrying that it was a joke? all a joke, just to mess around.

well thats what happened to me and its pretty crazy because after they confirmed with me that it was a joke, they weren't sorry about it. they were soo nonchalant about it and even said that it was hilarious. and another friend of mine who was there had the nerve to call me and tell me that if i was there with them, i would have felt differently. what the. why would you want to do that to people you supposedly "care" about?

personally, i don't think that sh*t is funny. personally, that stuff could really scare someone. i mean, i've been there with someone that i deeply care about when he/she found out that their best friend got arrested. i was there when he/she found out that their cousin was arrested. its not a great feeling, its very scary. its not something people can just undo and move on. its something serious. maybe i'm overreacting? i don't know. i was really pissed off/upset about it though.

how would you feel? what are your opinions?

If a friend of mine got arrested, I'd just call him a stupid ass. Regardless if its a joke or not.

ditto. i couldn't care less about friends getting into shit 'cause more than likely it's their fault. ;o

but if it were someone like my bf or a relative, i'd be pissed at them.

I'd just wonder how the hell they ended up in jail. If they committed a crime, no, I wouldn't worry. I also couldn't care less.

Id worry and be like what the f**k and id check it out but if it was a joke, hey i can take a joke but theres limits.. you can make fun of me ok but when your worrying me and its a JOKE i hate that shit.. i get really heated like damn dont f**k with me like that cause you gonna loose my trust cause when SOMETHING DOES HAPPEN i wont believe them next time, and thats a bad tihng. but yeah i can take a joke but sometimes people need to grow up or find a better joke, orrrrr play it on someone else.

I've had friends that have gotten arrested before. I don't think I'd be the person they'd want to call from the slammer, though, lol. I guess you can't believe something unless if it's from their mouth.

yeah, that is worse. i wouldn't have spoken to them after that, at least not for a bit.


i don't know, i think its because i really care about my friends and i have a small group of really great friends that i trust and i tell everything to. i've always known they play around too much, i mean, my boyfriend tells me everyday. but i never realized they play around like this.
at first, i thought he was stupid for getting arrested and not being careful. its because they were doing a scavenger hunt with like 13 people and the list had some things on there that you could get pulled over by a cop for. which is one of the reasons why i didn't join the hunt though.
