Hi everyone,
I recently had a very wierd experience. I was on a holiday in japan with my family, and I started noticing things were a bit strange.
First of all, I attracted some attention, something I never do at home. A lot of people were looking, to be honest.
At first I didn't give it much thought, but after a few days I started talking to people more, and they said things like "Your big nose is very good looking" or "Your white skin is so nice", and my blue eyes were not dull, but amazing. Those things would NEVER EVER had been said back home. Quite the contrary in fact. All the things that made me less than attractive at home, apparently made me hot in japan. For I quickly found out I was pretty darn attractive to the lovely japanese ladies.
This got me thinking, obviously, I really was good looking, just not where I lived!
So I started thinking, how could I find out how popular I was in different countries?
And, as always with the internet, I found a way. There is this website called http://popularin.com/ that makes maps of where in the world you are popular.

Gives us a generous vote: http://popularin.com/index.php?pid=o26-CDC

As of right now, China and Japan seem to be heaven on earth for me.

They see you as something of a novelty since there aren't many people with the looks of a Caucasian/European in Southeast Asia.

I go home to Taiwan, and sometimes to Japan for at least month or so each year. I think that girls who have attractions to men which are based principally on looks, exist universally. Absolutely nothing to do with location. To be completely honest I find the idea absurd. It is just like how women in the U.S. are fascinated by men with foreign accents. _smile.gif

Please don't be offended, but I really laughed when I read the part "Your big nose is very good looking". biggrin.gif
