i created the pattern and i was curious as to what did you guys think of it. i'm considering make it into a regular layout and the bg for the tables would be that green.

I like it. I think it has a lot of potential to be a layout. Just make sure that when you're picking out colors for the rest of the layout, like text and links, that they don't look tacky. Personally, I think if the pattern is going to be the main graphic on the layout that the pattern should be bigger (like the arrows and stars). But if you're thinking of making an image to put with it, it probably won't bug me tongue.gif

I like the pattern (my grandmother actually had paisley wallpaper, but I still remember it fondly). I kind of wish you'd go with the pink blog background instead of the green though. Maybe the beige color.

I like the boldness of colors. It reminds me of Kathleen's layouts. I think if you add a header to this and code it, it'll be worthy. :D

I really really like it! The pattern is really nice. I agree with Rebecca that the color of the blog should be a different color; though I think the beige would look nicer than the pink. _smile.gif

I would use it if it turned into a layout that i could use :D

Color wise, I'm unsure.. but I have a couple tips CSS wise..

Make sure that instead of making a pattern 1000px in height, just render a repeatable section of the pattern then repeat it in both the x and y axises. Then just make another div that has a background color (the green in the middle of this image) and simply center that div, set a fixed width, but no height. it should work.

Check out COLOURlovers for some good color trends, and patterns..
