I use proactiv! It works! It works so much! That my skin was flawless at one point. Then it kinda came back and then I used proactiv again then once again, my face was flawless.

Haha. Expensive stuff though. biggrin.gif

Yeah, I guess it does depend on the type of skin people have. Their long ass commercials with people crying about the way they looked before and all that stuff really sell. It makes me wanna buy some every time.

Hmm...I was thinking about getting that, but it's so expensive! Heh. I didn't even know if it worked or not. I have tried so much stuff and I kinda figured, "Why is this any different?" With my luck, it probably wouldn't work. _dry.gif

I got Proactive when it had just started coming out. I used it for 6 months. I saw results, but not what I was expecting or what I had seen on the poeple on the commercial. It didn't work for my friend either, but I have seen it work on others. I think it really depends on what skin type you have and how bad your acne is. I ended up going to the dotor and have been for a couple years now, the stuff that they give me works a lot better!

nope don't use it. Like many of you, it worked for a friend. Her mom bought it for her but she doesn't even have acne/blemishes!!
Does it really work?? I'm a very "influenced by other's results" person. Proactive is available in Metropolis (Canada) on a little wooden cart/stand. lol! Those small merchant stand in the middle of the "hallway" of malls?? can't explain pinch.gif

I have Proactiv, and it has helped my skin to a certain extent. It does make my skin a bit dry, and I still get pimples, but not as bad as I used to. You have to stick w/ it though and not expect instant results. It takes a couple of weeks to start working.

oh my friend has that stuff. . . to let it work it really depends on how bad your skin is and wat kind of skin you have. If your skin isn't that bad like only a couple of pimples dont excpect a lot to happen. If you have a lot of acne and stuff . . . it works but it wont make your skin all clear. Proactiv also doesn't work with all skin. It works better for some kinds of skin types :]

When you talk about facial products, it really depends on your skin type. Like for instance, I have sensitive skin and can't use products with a certain chemical. Unfortunately most face wash has that chemical so I use organic soap to wash my face. And it helps way more than proactiv ever did. So yeah, check what kinda skin you have first.

^^that`s true. you should base it on your skin type rather than everybody`s opinion. maybe asking someone with the same skin type as your`s will help.

It reduces a lot of pimples but not all. My friends who use Proactiv says the same thing. The only complaint was always keeping up with it. You cant' miss one day

not your skin tone, your skin type. the color of your skin has little to do with it.

it didnt help me

yes, i do. i works a little for me but it seem to came back. im still using it. i have been begging my mom to get it since the 7th grade when my acne was out of control. she finally agree to get it for me like this year (4 years later). my mom says the whole out of control acne thing is from genetics which is true according to proactive. it help but sometime i wish they made a cure for acne since it jacks up my face. pinch.gif
