So for those of you who may or may not know, 13 years ago today (march 31st) was when she died.

I wasn't a fan until I watched the movie about her starring Jennifer Lopez a couple years ago.

She was so amazingly talented. May she rest in peace.

I watched the movie about her in Spanish class.

God, I was a year old when she died. Although I'm not exactly a fanatic , I love her music. Supposedly, my uncle met her when he studying with the forces (he was not in the army, but I don't know what you call it if he's studying and stuff) when he was in his mid twenties.

My favorite songs are Dreaming of You and Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.

I love her. She's so essential to mexican and texan culture. She's big in Texas. She's legendary. It's sad what happened to her.
