Most band/concert shirts are made for guys, so they're kinda boxy and have that neckline that nearly suffocates you. I was just wonder what's a way to modify them a bit to make them fit the female shape better?

I usually cut them diagonally from the top of the right shoulder to the left sleeve then wear them loosely over a tank-top.
You can also cut starting from one shoulder and horizontally to the other one. I've also seen people cut a V down the front center to make it a v-neck. If you want to completely change your shirt, though, you can buy some shoelaces and try cutting it into a halter top or a tube top. |

i
They have a ton of tutorials to convert tshirts into something better fitting/cute. Some examples http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=107506.0 http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=89043.0 More here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=125734.0 |

I cut a slit right in the center of the collar when shirt collars are too close for my taste.

I used to just cut the collar and sleeves a bit and wear them with a tank underneath, but it gets kinda old after a while.

Lol, I've done that before, but the problem that I run into is that if I don't re-stitch (is that even a word?) it right then when I wash it, it ruins it faster. I used to just cut down the front, like how a lot of people wear their sweatshirts now, and re-stitch that. I'll try looking around craftster. Thanks, Maxine.

I'm actually really excited to see how your tshirts turn out. I haven't done any of the reconstruction projects so let me know how you like the results. No problem. |

Roll up the sleeves once or twice and wear them with denim shorts and a cardigan.

Cut straight up the sides along the seams (up to the armpit of the sleeve) && then tie little knots, if you want to just make it more feminine..
If your problem is the neck line, you could cut it so it's a V-neck or off your shoulders. |
