Last year the sweetest guy ever asked me out.... we went out for nearly 4 months i think, but since he was going on to another school, we split up since we would never see each other. But he would always find a way to keep in touch... calling me, IMing me... the minute i signed on he would say hi, even when it hadnt finished loading yet. recently, he came to one of my band concerts, (btw, its been a year since we went out) and he wrote me a note, saying how he still loved me and wanted to be with me, but he had a girlfriend, and he didnt know what to do about it. He talked to me later about the whole affair, and i just told him to be happy, to do whatever... and it hasnt been the same since. he hasnt said anything to me suggesting we were more than just casual friends. But yet, when i've been seeing him at marching band camp (haha im a nerd i know...) i catch him looking at me, when i walk by he smiles, and he showed a real concern when i nearly passed out at practice.... what am i supposed to think??

he likes you. okay just say hey. and talk to him..dont be like HEY WASHA!? just talk your way in slowly. have a conversation, slowly. usually it suddenly happens. just come up and tell what happened in school, and say i missed you. that would be so sweet. but usually the guy feels awkward, but since he smiles AT you..i think he still have feelings about you, so the whole conversation would go well.
take it slow. get to know him first. ask his siblings what some of his interests are(if he has any), and if any of them coincide with yours, then start a conversation on that topic. for example, if you both play guitar or something, say, "What songs do you know?" get really into the conversation. relax, and try to act as if he's just another friend. Once you get to know each other, then start a little tiny bit of flirting. again, take it SLOW. be playful. if he likes it, then good.

he`s just acting that way because you`re special to him. you were his previous girlfriend that meant alot to him before, but had no choice to move on with his life. he has no choice to move on. but on occasions he would look back at his past, you.

i think you should move on as well. unless a miracle happens that brings you two back together. but long distance relationships aren`t as nice as close ones.
