Alright, so I've only been on birth control [Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo] for about 3 months, and I had sex with my boyfriend.. on March 8th [we didn't use a condom]. And I just started my 'inactive' pills on Saturday/ Sunday, and I still haven't gotten my period yet. Is that a cause for concern? Does anyone know what the chances of me being pregnant are? Any help would.. help. [=

You might just be running late this week. Wait til the end of the week to worry. I'm sure you'll be fine.

it could be that you're stressing about possibly not getting it, that your body is reactig to that stress. it's happened to me before. just wait a few days.

Usually your supposed to get it between the 2 Sundays you stop taking the hormones. Over the past few months, when I stopped the hormones on Saturday, I would get my period by yesterday or at least today. But nothing so far. I wasn't really worrying before- it's just down to the line now..

I take the same pills & have had that same prob after intercourse with no condom...just wait it out a little longer...chances are you're worrying too much like another person said...there's no huge chance you're pregnant if you've been using your pills correctly but there's no definite chance either...

LOL you're pregnant, congrats. You just ruined your life. laugh.gif

Oh by the way, if you're gonna be having unprotected sex, I advise you to get tested for HPV and get shots for it. If not, you'll end up with clit cancer.

I use the ring instead of the pills, but that's strange for you.. usually it should normalize your menstrual cycle, but th pill does cause greater fluctuations in side effects compared to the Ring.

Anyways, your period should've started in a few days (like 3-ish). If you don't have your period within 7 days after you start your placebo pills, you must take a pregnancy test. In which case you are most likely pregnant.

That, or your period is hella irregular. shrug.gif
