If it's semi-formal, I think that the dress posted by Tung is just way too much. Do you have any particular style of a dress that you would like to wear? I think these dresses are pretty nice (the ones that are at knee length, not the super frilly ones). I think this dress from David's Bridal is also very nice. I suggest with just going with something knee length and pick out a color that matches your skin tone. :).

Well, budget, I'm not sure about it, but I am sharing the party with my twin.
I would like my dress to be a little more formal than the guests but. This is what I look like-  My hair isn't really that red-ish, it's more brown, it's my phone, it screws up colors. =P edit- I have extensions that I'll most likely have in for color. and my hair will be curly. |

you can find some cute semi-formal stuff at places like kohl's or forever 21, charlotte russe, those kinds of places, not too overpriced. |

I suggest.. JESSICA MCCLINTOCK! some of their dresses are really nice, and they're not all that expensive unless you get like some high end ballroom dress. Hahah, they're usualyl in the 100-200 range. But yea, I would suggest the color being part of your theme maybe? I dunno. =]]] good luck

Alyce Prom and Alfred Angelo. I'm also planning ahead for my Sweet Sixteen, and my favorite dresses are from those two designers. Alyce has everything from short to long and sweet to sexy, so I pretty much love them.

Have you looked at dresses at a local retail store, like in the mall?
My friends always go to Jessica McClintock (I think I spelled it right?) to buy their prom dresses, birthday dresses, etc. Maybe you should check the store out if you have it there or something similar to it. |
