I'm busy/bored at work and took a survey to see if I was happy at work. I didn't do so well :( Do you guys like your job? If your bored go to this site and find the thingy called PGI. It's kind of fun.

62%...though I'm much happier with my part-time job than that! Haha, some of those questions were plain daft.

Yeah, I didn't score so well. yeah I think some of the questions were filler questions so it wouldn't seem so technical. How much did you say you tipped at restaurants? I said 20..but of course thats with perfect service..otherwise i give the regular 15. |

I wish I could get a job. I'd love for someone to hire me as their babysitter but so far, no luck.

This is bullshit. As if 10 questions could really give us true answers to why we're upset or what %age we're at. Gay

I live in Canada and this is for the US... =p ah well. And my job is okay. I don`t hate it, and it has its good points but there are definitely some awful moments and I need to get paid more.

I mean, wtf. i've taken it a couple of times and I haven't gotten that one! LOL I need to try it again. Did you actually put your hand up there?? I'm going to take it again. It's monday so I doubt I'll get a high score. |

my job is fun. we have 37" lcds, dish network, sirius radio, and cellphones that are internet ready, on top of that internet.
we play laser tag in our basement with our "price" guns. and at night we usually get a few friends over and chill in the back. i don't get paid much, around 300 a week or so, "more depending on commission." it's a laid back job, we have things to do that day, like audits, reorganizing, training, etc. a job is still a job, and our store needs to get things done, but afterwards it's peachy and relaxing from there. right now there's no customers, no traffic or anything... so half my posts are from here anyway. the employees here rock, we go drinking every weekend along with guitar hero parties :). it's hell if you don't know every merchandise in the store, (audits indicate about 3,500 different skus/items) but once you get the hang of it everythings peachy. i love my job, plus i have a lot of power too >=]. 11 months with the company, and still counting |

I interned with a professional Basketball team for FREE and worked about 60-70hr weeks. But, I LOVED it. If I would have taken the survey during my time there I would have scored like a 98% and that's only because I kind of wish I made a little bit of change from it. I'm definitely going to look for quality of work while looking for my new job. Money is important but if I'm too tired or have no time to spend it on anything but rent and bills then I'm wasting my time. |

yeah thats true.
i'm pushing 40 hours a week, 35 at minimum, and i don't get fatigued like other jobs. i worked at cvs and quit after 8 months, it was tiring and grueling. the spanish assembly line/factory wasn't fun either. 60 hours a week of doing just assembly belts and getting 7.50 an hour wasn't too good, but for that many hours i guess it was good money. i think i've had about every job imaginable, to coffee stands, shoes, retail, and expensive clothing (banana republic), but the most comfortable position that i've come to be is a salesperson. talking to people is enjoyable, customers love our store and we're rated the biggest and highest customer support in the whole new england district. my friend interned with a basketball team also at the end of highschool. she loved it so much she dropped out, and became a fulltime staff of the wizards (i think that was the team.) she's still with them parttime, and owns a house down now in florida. i met her again at my store around three years later out of surprise, and she was visiting family here in ny. she's doing very well. my other friend dropped out of highschool too, opened up his own electronic/repair business in penn with his girlfriend, got married, and he owns a house with three cars and has a baby. he's 19, but living life. i have another friend who owns his own business with family, has a girlfriend thats pregnant (i think the baby was born about now), and 19 as well. they all love life, some regret not graduating but they're making do of with they have. it seems like they appreciate life more now, with responsibilites being held at a young age. one of our associates said that anybody can follow the american dream, with dedication, help from people, and determination. he's 82 and retired from his business, but working with us, and it seems as though he's right. |

lol watch this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMczbilSreM My old coworkers had a surprise party for me, AFTER work hours during the work week. I still can't figure out why I left that job. At least I was happy with the people even though the work was monotanous.

lmao I got 45% but I love my job! Ahaha half of those questions I could answer without even having a job... Like "what is the face of your partner when you see him/her?" ... =_=" Come on now, I'll get the same face after I see him when I'm done with classes. Pssh. He gives me this pout (sooo cute), so I automatically choose the pouting/sad face. D: And for some reason that lowers my PGI D:
Yea I make $9.50/hour. But that's a lot of money for the shit-work I do, since I usually only do 45min-1 hour's work of work during my whole shift. Heck yea I'm happy. |

65% using info from my last job, since I'm just a student presently.
Did anyone get the connection prompt? Said I had a t1 connection and that it probably isn't mine and am using a computer not at home like at work or at school. Lies. |
