maybe somebody can direct me to a tutorial or something...
i have my site done and i now want to upload it to my domain...i use steadfast.net as a webhost and downloaded fetch for an ftp client...
i transferred my index page to my site and want to go from there but dont know what to do now...when i go to my site, the same temporary page comes up, not my index site....how do i establish what i want my links to be? for example, if i upload a page and want it to have a certain address such as www.mysite.com/music/myparticularpage
how do i do this? i dont really know how to organize the things i uploaded but most importantly, i would like to see the my index page to make sure i uploaded it correctly..it shows in my file manager but when i go to my actual site nothing happens...
any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Did you make an index.htm or index.php page? That's probably the reason why.

Make sure to make an index page (html) and some hosts setup your ftp so that you have folders in your domain. If there's a public_htm(l) put the files into that folder.

Also make sure that your MX records are correct, Zone file, and DNS is pointing to the correct host.
