i want a new camera, but i know close to nothing about what makes a camera good or bad. so tell me what kind i should consider. i'm not going to spend thousands and thousands or dollars on it, so yeah.

the casio exlim 750 i think, the 7.2mp camera is good. wide screen, easy to navigate, long distance flash, great clarity in pictures, and it's under 130. the price will probably drop even more, since hey have another new exlim model out right now, so for budget wise i'd go for that.
the canonsd1000 is still, and probably the best portable, slim camera on the market. it's still a little bit pricey, but the red eye reduction really does it's stuff. now, the samsung 7 and 6.2mp cameras are all under 110, and run off of AA batteries, which is excellent for traveling. instead of waiting two hours to charge the battery, you can pop in another set of regular alkaline batteries to keep it going. you can buy packs of 40 for around 20 dollars in cosco or radioshack, or get rechargables instead. |
