I think this is a little better than your previous one, if I can remember that one well.

I think the skin still looks just a little too perfect, but it's not that bad. Maybe it's just her teeth that bothers me, haha. Hmm, if whitening her teeth some more doesn't work, you can try implanting new perfect teeth in her mouth. XD.gif

Nice job, though.

The color just seems way too off for me. I like the color in the original picture, but I like how her skin looks better in the edited version.

It's good, I dunno why but the skin seems kinda... blurry? like her cheeks part. Maybe it's just me.

i think you need to lighten her upper lip or something, it looks like shes got 5 o'clock shadow.

the skin looks too perfect; it would help if you left a few imperfections (freckles) to make it look more realistic.

i think you did well, overall. in the second picture, i like how her skin looks smooth and bright.

Mmmm, I'd say you nailed about 25% of the enhancements.

The lips and mouth in general look better to me in the original (especially the lipstick color), her eyes lost some of the depth in the retouch, her skin lost a lot of the radiance (so play around w. shading the skin and adding light in the right spots), and the skin has a weird color, IMO. I'd also make her laugh lines, and the area around her nose sharper.

(I'm rather picky).

But nice job. :) Keep at it.

I think what's throwing off the retouched version is that all shadow is gone from her hair.
It's a little too bright (not quite right for her skin tone), so it makes everything around it a little too bright as well.
I think if you tuned the hair down a little bit, maybe added some shadow/contrast back, it would be PERFECT.
The skin tone's amazing in your retouch, & I love how here eyes and mouth really stand out. =]
Great work. =]

To me the skin just looks too perfect. Her teeth seem too white. Maybe lower the opacity on that a bit? And I agree about the lipstick color. The color on the original image matched more. Other than that, I think it looks fine.

Not bad! Just try to make the skin not so smooth looking. Try to keep it natural looking. My favorite part is the eyes. Nice work. flowers.gif

Sorry to bump an old thread, but just wanted to say that freckles are NOT an imperfection. I think they are beautiful.

I like it!
but the lips are a bit faded in color, I think. Did you blur those too?
I heard sharpening the lips help, but I dunno. That's just me.

I would've fix the teeth more. That's whats bothering me. And I wouldn't change the lips because it looks like the red lip stick faded away because I can see some of it.

The retouched version was smoothed over too much, especially around her face so it makes it look less realistic.

hehe, don't worry, it was just a mistake. not all of us are perfect.

how much blur did you add to the picture anyways?

there's a tutorial somewhere on cb that explains how to retouch the skin without overdoing it. there's also one for the eyes and lips.
