I'm thinking of emptying my bank account to get one for uni/college. Is there anyone who has one already? and if you what do you think?

The hard drive is a wuss (4200 RPM), but if you only want it for the fundamentals, it's at a pretty good price.
Still, research the Hell out of laptops before you drop that much money for one. Look at reviews on www.newegg.com (I would advocate buying from them over anywhere else, other than illegal black market exchanges - see me for that) and www.cnet.com. Take your time so you don't regret anything. |

Thanks for the reply.
I'm only after fundamentals and I have to admit I've been turned off slightly cheaper but uglier laptops. I've already searched Cnet for reviews (doesn't have the exact model unfortunately but at least the one I'm looking at meets their checklist of student needs ^_^) I'm also looking at NewEgg now and so far there's no horrible warnings against Sony Vaio Cr's, and a few nice reviews on similar models. and as for the illegal black market exchanges; tempting, very tempting. :) |
