I personally would never ever in my whole entire life date a guy who is younger than me. It makes me seem like a pedophile or a child molester to be honest. ph34r.gif Also, guys around my age (and area) are immature enough as is, and our hormones probably wouldn't be at the same level (just like the age). Don't get me wrong though, there ARE males who are young at age but definitely intelligent. :P. I would just want a older man, is all.

It varies case from case. I don't see anything wrong with a younger guy when I'm 40 (and I look young, as well) if we have the same interests and beliefs. However, I'm already committed to a guy five years older, so I can't see this as a likely situation.

You left out the maybe...

While it's certainly not preferred, it would depend on the guy, the actual age difference, and the situation.

It really depends on the guy himself. I've liked guys who were a month younger than me (or less), so it didn't really matter. But ultimately I'd prefer someone older.

I'd say yes & no. Yes, because I've have boyfriends who were a few months younger than me, so that counts. And no, because I don't really see myself being with someone who is a year or more younger than I am.

Unless I'm like thirty/forty and somehow end up with a younger guy in the future. Sure, why not? rolleyes.gif

Me, personally...

A year or two younger, sure. Not bad.
3 years +....no. Big difference.
But I'm not against those that do. Love is love...
and I've read several books with the girl being 5+ years older and it didn't bother me. I just won't do it.

I have before, and it wasn't really too big of a deal. About half of my exes were younger than me. But I'll be 18 next week, so I can't see myself with a younger guy after that. I'd feel like a pedophile. =/

Deffinately depends on how much younger. I just can't see myself, right now, being physcially attracted to someone a lot younger. A year or two isn't a biggie.

everything points to NO! just wouldn't be comfortable, nor would i date anyone 5 + years older than me. guess it was the way i was brought up and the fact that my parents are a month apart... i want something like what they have! happy.gif

I prefer someone older than me. But if the guy is younger and is mature enough, I don't see why not.

I've always had this assumption that if they're younger (as in years not like months because that doesn't count for me) I would always have to baby him and I'd be like this motherly figure. I don't like being the pants in the relationship.

My parents are like that, My mother takes care of everything basically and my dad's the bitch. Mostly she takes care of all the money, and my dad doesn't speak much english so thats the reason.
She's more dominant in the longrun and I don't want to be like that.

I like older guys...

But I suppose when I'm at an age when you can't really tell between a year or two - like late 20's or something, I don't think I would mind.

no b/c girls mature faster than guys so if a guy is a few years older than you, your maturity levels kinda match up lol. but if he's younger than you, ugh no way. it's like dating a five year old blink.gif

the youngest guy i've dated was like barely two months younger than me. and he was my first "boyfriend". after him, i've always had a boyfriend 2 or 3 years older than me. i just never saw myself dating someone my age because they were so immature or whatever. lol. they weren't my type. but i think i would date someone younger, ONLY ONLY ONLY if he doesn't seem younger. the farthest i'll go is like one year younger. that is it. i'd feel too weird if it goes past that.

I voted yes, but really its a big 'maybe' It depended on their maturity level, because most guys that are younger than me are way to immature for me. A few months younger is probably the farthest I'd go..

Nothing really wrong with it.
My boyfriend's 10 months younger then me. Same grade, now a sophomore with me.

IAWTC!

I don't see it mattering their age, if they're really immature that's a different thing, but don't write them off cause they had the misfortune of being born after you.

And with that, I'm actually dating a guy 3 years older than me, but it I wouldn't care if he was 3 years younger.(however, that might be a little illegal?)
