So, the second I turned 19, one of my friends told me to go to Webster Hall (club in nyc) on Thursdays because it's Ladies Night (free for females; 19+), and, in her words, "there are male strippers and if you get on stage, they do things to you!"

I checked out some pictures of Ladies Night at Webster Hall:

Now I'm kinda really super excited. I went to Webster Hall yesterday for this dance party and it was okay, but I'm really looking forward to Thursday now.

Have any of you ever been to a male strip club/ ladies night type of thing? I'm not really sure what to expect.

Well, I'm not old enough to get into a club legally and I refuse to go to one of those teen bashes because all they do is "dry hump", oh grind. But I can't wait til I am old enough to get into a club. dance.gif Lets get funky. I hear about Webster hall alot on z100. Some of the signs they have in clubs I don't really get. There was one that said, Girls over 21 welcome but guys have to be 24 to come. blink.gif

My boyfriend is probably planning on bringing me to someplace like that when I turn eighteen, because it's what some kids do out here in Vegas.

The reason in age difference for girls and guys, is that they want a more mature crowd at certain places. I have definitely heard that webster hall is where it is at as far as ladies night goes. When my boy turns 21, we are all going to hit the strip club!

Yeah, been there and done that, but I really hate crowds/sweaty places. However, if I'm a little drunk, I don't have a lot of reservations and get down. A lot. Clubbing is so boring if you're just sitting there, watching guys/girls strip.

Indeed it is, hence why we will be bar hopping before and after the strip club!

What's the point in something being 19+?
I've been to a couple of clubs, one of which was 18+ and the other was 18+ for girls, 21+ for guys, which is rather sketchy. I only agreed to go because I was drunk, it's really not my thing. Neither of them were really like that, though, and I don't know how drunk I'd have to be to get up on stage, but I'd rather not find out. I don't know, if could be fun for you.

^ I really don't get the 19+ thing, either. Maybe they just don't want high schoolers getting in?

I like clubbing when I've had a little (or a lot) to drink before. I can't stand bars and drinking at clubs because they jack up the prices of the same drinks that I can make myself; and I generally like the way I make the drinks better.

Make sure you bring change and throw lots of it at the strippers.

I am not into the whole club scene, as you usually run into those run of the mill young asses who don't know anything. I ditched the NY club scene 2 years ago and thank goodness I did. International clubs are so much better in my opinion. I will admit, that out here in Jersey, you can get the same nyc bar hopping experience in Hoboken and you will spend a lot less money doing it.

Hm, I guess that almost makes sense. But I'm in college and won't be 19, so I wouldn't be amused.

My fake is terrible, so not drinking before isn't really an option. Some people can pull off shitty fakes, but it's pretty hard when people barely believe you're 18.

^ If you're a female, you generally don't have to worry. The only time a female friend of mine got her fake taken away was when the guy she was with got his taken away first because he's ...really stupid.

And if you go to an 18+ club, you'll still be able to drink inside because the bars don't really check to see if you have a wristband. I was able to get shots and drinks at every single bar in the club and the bartenders didn't even bother looking at my wrist because people were screaming drinks at them from all directions.

That's what I thought, but they're trying to crack down on things here. For the most part, you can still get away with shit, but I know a bunch of people who've been arrested, and one of the times I went to a club, I let a guy buy me a drink (bad idea, I know I know), but he didn't have a wristband, and security followed him. He handed me the drink, the guy came over, and I had to hand it back and run away. I don't know people who've gotten their fakes taken, so much, but I've seen plenty turned away.
