I am a nice guy. I'm a good person, etc. But I have had nothing but horrible experiences with dating. Most recently I went out on a date with a girl. It seemed to go well. She said she wanted a 2nd date. Then she told me she was more comfortable talking online. Then she rejected me on valentine's day.
So it has me thinking do girls go for guys that are a**holes more than a guy that is nice?? I don't mean a guy that is overly nice either. Also, I'm 21 and a virgin. I've had chances to lose it, but I haven't. I've been thinking I would save it for that special person. What a dummy I've been for thinking that, because the people I keep meeting are nowhere near special! My cousin and a few of my guy friends keep telling me to just lose it. They say I'll feel more confident, and I'll do better with dating. Is that true?? Do girls look down on guys that are virgins? I say that, because I've been out with girls, and I've said I'm a virgin. They'll say encouraging words, but you can see a look of disappointment on their face. |

"Girls" isn't a single entity. Some girls will like you. Others will not.
More importantly, who cares? Be who you want to be. If it's not enough for someone, then she isn't worthy of you. Have some pride. You should be so content with yourself as a person that you'd be willing to live your life alone if it came down to it and nobody ever liked you (which won't happen, so this isn't a literal mind-set), such are the strength of your principles. Unless you're a Nazi or something. Then you'd want to do something about your ideals, yeah. Sticking your wang in a vagina isn't going to change anything. Big whoop de do. Amphibians spawn all the time, and they're nothing special. You sound like you're seeking a significant other just for the sake of being with someone. Don't count the days; make the days count. Gross, that was sophisticated and stuff. BLARGH SOCKS! WAFFLES! SNORT. Better. |

You know.... if I were you, I wouldn't mention the whole virgin thing. The only thing I could say is... just date for fun. Think of it as a date with just a friend. But! Talk to them like you're interested in them in terms of a relationship. Make dating just a fun game, you don't need to mention the whole virgin thing, nor need to have sex. You gotta see it as practice, no matter what the girl looks like, it doesn't matter. Anyways just from the dating scene you could build a "character" from it. Not so much a different fake life or anything like that. Meh I would go into more details but it's a guy thing that shouldn't be spread on this forum board lol |

Wow, you and I are exactly alike, except for the virgin thing. With that being said, what you have to realize, is that "girls" want to date the bad boys. Even though they say that they don't like to have to chase after boys and deal with their shit, they secretly do. It gives them something to hold on to in a relationship. Are all girls like this? No, but the majority of them are.
I only talk to women, because they tend to know what they want, and they don't have time for all the bullshit. They are driven, and they want a man that is going to treat them right, and not do them dirty at the end of the day. There are girls out here our age that are capable of being good to a good man, but it is just very hard to find them. You will learn as you go along, that some women like to keep the good guy around, because he is her safety guy. The good guy is there in the background just in case she starts to get tired of the bad guy and wants to move on. I was in the situation as recently as last week, but I decided that it was time for me to strike out on my own and have fun. Although I am somewhat against it, I can understand why your friends would say to get out and have fun. My friends and family have told me the same thing. We are entirely too young, to try to be strapped down and in a relationship. You are not going to just find your dream girl on the first shot, and that is why you must get out and let your guard down a little and have fun. One thing to remember though, is that you give them enough to keep them interested and not to give away the full product on the first go 'round. |

Also, when you're eating dinner with her, if she says, "I love carrots," say, "Good," while gritting your teeth real hard, and then continuing, "Then maybe you and carrots would like to go into the bedroom and have sex!" She'll think you're contextually adaptable.

Why the hell would you tell girls that you've never had sex with anyone? Girls like confidence, and at 21 telling everyone that you're a virgin, girls start to make themselves believe that you're a wishy-washy, inexperienced, unconfident guy waiting to "lose it already."
And, no, sex will not make you more confident. You'll feel good for about five minutes, and then everything will come back to slap you in the face the next morning, being reserved all over again. Who's asking whom out? If you're doing the asking, you're probably being drawn to the wrong girls. |

I have more respect for a guy if he has managed to keep his snake sheathed! ![]() A lot of girls don't want the bad boys - don't let past experiences with nasty ladies put you off going out there and finding the right one. |

Lol. You don't tell a girl that you're a virgin on your first date. No.
wait until you're in a stable relationship with someone. Don't lose your virginity to just any skank. The right girls will have no respect for guys who sleep around. |

And some women, just might strictly prefer non-virgins. Some might not have preference. ^telling someone you`re a virgin or not, imo, should only be said whether conditions are comfortable, etc. but also, it never hurts to just be frank, however. ![]() |

if you're feeling low about yourself.
just watch The 40-year-old Virgin. don't spill your virgin-ness too quick. but if you don't get with them..there's obviously a reason for it.. and you're time will come. |
