Is it just me or does the newer Eclipse look freakin ugly? Look at the evidence below... why did they make it look like a catfish??? O_o No wonder Mitsu is losing money... haha
  And also...why are they jockin' the Lexus IS300 looks?? I hate Evo 8 btw...   Sorry Mitsu lovers but their older car designs were better lik pre-2000 Eclipses and their Evos 4-6...  Although I have to admit... the catfish look is pretty original  hahaha... Enjoy!

This should be in the Boys Locker.
Mitsubishi will go out of business soon. Lancer Evo 8 isn't as good as its previous sucessors. It takes alot of imagination to think an Eclipse looks like a catfish. Someone must be bored. |

i think the evo's much boxier.. and besides, most cars DO look the same.. just take a look at all the nissan, honda, and subaru designs -=\
as for the eclipse.. i like year '96 the best. |

I heard the new Eclipes is suppose to be a hybrid with a V6 and almost 270 horse power.... Iono about you, but that'll save ALOTA money in the long run. AND it has power.

Sorry... Mitsu got beat out again... hehe...
The Toyota Volta is also a hybrid that puts out over 400hp, gets over 30mpg, and does 0-60 in 4.0 seconds and besides... the Eclipses' est. weight is 4000 lbs! haha... 270hp is not going to move that thing very fast... haha. Volta....

yes the agree is ugly, but i sweat the evo8. if anything, i think the evo8 is helping mitsubishi out. evo8s is definitely a competitor to other imports such as the sti. how many articles have u read about the evo8 vs the sti? A LOT!

Everyone always hates new models of loved cars. It just takes some time to get used to it. Like the new civic SI, most people i knew hated it; but they grew to love it.
And for one thing, MITSU didnt jock LEXUS w/ the headlights. They just made their original headlights for the previous EVO models bigger. So, LEXUS copied MITSU. Even though this topic is almost a year old bahahah... |
