This is the CB Book Club! Once a month we will read a new book. The suggestions for books will be rotated among the members. The person who last chose the book will choose the next person. Please post if you want to be in the club!

Our first book will be Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer (just because I just bought it :D).

PICK ME. We should set deadlines for these so the discussion doesn't drag on for too long.

The discussion can go on during the whole of March while we are reading the next book.

ahhh. i have to remember to write that down and see if my school library has it. if not, i'm going to go ahead and read The Beleiver by Nicholas Sparks, since I won't be able to get to the city library until the weekend after this weekend, so it'll be pointless by then. >_<

I won't be able to read this book because my local library doesn't have it and I don't have time to go down to the Cincinnati Public Library. So I'm going to read Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky instead

Same here.

Those of you that said you wouldn't be reading it, you should really go get it anyway. It's worth it.

Yes, well, the local library doesn't have and I don't have the time nor money to go to the city and look for it.
So I'll be reading OUT by Natsuo Kirino.

I was unable to pick up this month's book. However, I did just finish reading The Lovely Bones and would love to discuss that book.

Sammi - how do you want to go about selecting a new book of the month and how do you want to go about discussing this month's book(s)? Did you want to create a separate discussion thread for February BoTM?

We don't need a separate thread. I'm going to elect Toya to choose the next book, since she was the only I remember who read this one.

You can go ahead and close this and let Toya make the new topic.
