Alright, so I have both versions of
Photoshop, CS2 and CS3 Extended.
And having them both is taking up a lot of space
on my computer, and I was wondering,
if I uninstalled & deleted CS2 would it affect CS3 in any way?

B/c I did it back when I only had the trial
version of CS3 and I uninstalled & deleted it after
the trial was over, and it screwed w/my CS2 so I couldn't
extract things or do .PNG files or .GIF's anymore...

Help?

it shouldn't affect the other. Why not uninstall both and re-install the one you want.

thats weird becauase adobe only allows one version of photoshop per computer because it usally screws the other up, You could find the clean up script on the adobe page:]oo and if you uninstall CS2 its not going to affect CS3:]

I agree with Ryan o_O It should affect it, but I mean I personally would just uninstall both of them and just install the one that I wanted back up there. shrug.gif

And I mean if you already knew that adobe only allows one version of photoshop per computer, then why did you put bother versions on your computer? Makes no sense what so ever?

So anyway, as said. Uninstall both, install the one you want, if all fails. Contact adobe customer service.

Unless your using downloaded versions of the program, then well your f**ked. XD

Well, I had the downloaded versions of both.

But I uninstalled CS2, and CS3's working just fine...
so far.

So thanks for the help.
