I'm not quite sure if this is where this belongs, so sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

is there anyway that I can open patterns that have already been defined as their original file? I made a whole bunch of patterns and without thinking I didn't save them as files, I just defined them as patterns. I want to be able to open them, save them as an image file, and upload them to the internet. is there anyway that I can do this?

Moved to Graphics Help

Hmm... only thing I can think of is using the pattern in a new image, and then cropping accordingly.

As Rachael said, you'll need to fill a space (the size of the pattern) with the pattern and then save it as an image file - I would do it as soon as possible, though, because the moment you switch to a different built-in pattern collection and choose not to save (like I do cause I'm a loser) you'll lose all those patterns you didn't save. ;_;
