My "job" isn't really a job. It's this thing for Seventeen Magazine you had to apply for, but I don't think they were all that picky.
Congrats though :]

really really bad.
i was applying to hollister and there were like 7 other shit f**ks who wanted the job.

it was a group interview, and every time i tried to answer, i came up with the gayest answers because, I SWEAR, they took mine.

i didn`t want to copy them, so i chose something else.

apparently, it didnt work.

lol

Computer interview, easy as pie.

Real interview - easy as pie. I swear the guy must have been half awake the whole time and instead of asking me interview questions we talked about our majors and schools in NC and then he was like oh yea, you got the job!

and then I left

haha if I were two weeks later I would have had to have my interview with the district manager, lucky me!

I got my first job without even applying. I was it was a few weeks before my 14th birthday and I was being friendly with some Taco Bell employees when the Hiring Manager asked if I wanted to work there.

I have since decided that if the hiring manager is a guy I will get the job, but if it's a girl I won't. I have been to 20+ job interviews and that theory has not yet been disproven.

My first interview was for a vetinary assistant. I didn't get the job - I was nervous as hell and up against a lot of other teens wanting to build portfolios before uni.

My next job interview was much better - and I was up against 3 days' worth of applicants. Sure, it was only a weekend job at a well-known retailer; but I did it! I duty manager for them now, which is uber.

There's nothing like a job to boost confidence and initiative!

My first job was with my uncle so there was no interview...

I think my first interview was for Superstore (a grocery store) and I thought it went well but I got no call. sad.gif But then, I got an interview for Tim Horton's and it was pretty easy and at the end I had the job.
Some time later, I went to the job fair at the mall and got 5 interview and got 4 job offers. It was awesome. XD.gif

My first interview was for this jewelry kiosk at a mall. They only sell silver jewelry so I couldn't wear my gold (hey, I'm Indian and we wear tons of gold) and I had to wear visible make-up (lipstick at least and I'm not fond of lipstick). I guess my face showed my disinterest and I didn't get a call back. :P The first place I left my resume was also a fashion jewelry store but I didn't get a call. Then I applied to a huge retailer and my interview went well and I got the job. Pretty good for a first job.

Oh, and the elderly are definitely worse than kids.

In any business, a certain degree of professionalism is required to run the organization. Mickey D's is no different.

my first job interview was pretty normal...
the first thing the manager said to me after "hi, how're you doing" and etc was "so tell me about yourself."

i made him laugh the whole way through. it was simple :P i met the rest of the staff pretty much that day.

They're one of the top food chains because they're everywhere and it's a quick fix for dinner.

They make millions because, again, they're everywhere.

The number of employees doesn't really show professionalism...with those numbers, it could mean that they'll just higher anyone.

Maybe they used to be professional to get to the top, but once they reached it, it's a backburner activity.
