i love both my best mate and my boyfriend they're both the most important things in my life but theres just one problem.. my best mate really really hates my boyfried. how can i try ad fix this?

Let's see, I was in that situation except I was the friend who hated the best friend's boyfriend.
lol "boyfried". Haha. I wish my best friend's boyfriend can be named/labeled that. LOL. Apparently, I didn't like the way my best friend being treated by that idiotic boyfriend. I still don't like him and I don't have time to chill with her since she's always with her boyfriend who is a druggie and such. IMO, I'm not sure if there is a way to fix that. I mean seriously, it usually depends on your friend on how she adapts to you're boyfriend. Why don't you guys all try to hang out somewhere and stuff. Your friend might get use to your boyfriend. |

my best mate is a girl =] who is so tottally opposites to me as we like all the different kinds of things
and true.. hmm i mean what you said did really sound like what's happening with me.. on saturday i was hanging out with my best mate and then my boyfriend came and hang with us then she gets all pissed off and all of a sudden she just cry.. iv been friends with her for so many years that iv never see her cry before! and that was the first time she met him in person.. after that.. she has been trying to make me dump him |

I think that even if you try to fix the problem, you gotta realize that if worst comes to worst, your boyfriend and friend may never get along. That's how it is for me. And honestly, I had to pretty much make a choice between him (boyfriend) or her (good friend), and you might have to do the same. Either way, the best thing I think to do, is let it kind of solve itself. You've gotta talk it through with both of them and it might just be that your best friend doesn't know him well enough, or maybe your best friend is just trying to protect you.
