wikihow.com -Learn how to do random things! Some are pointless but eh you're learning.
43things.com -I like it because it's a nice way to set goals and get motivation/ideas from others.
wikipedia.com -Whenever I think of something I want to learn about I write it down on a list and when I have nothing else better to do I pull out that list and start in wikipedia.
youtube.com -I usually watch people performing covers or dancing, but sometimes I'll watch a vlog.

Do you mean to doubt the authority of the information?
haha jk, Yeah I know the stuff isn't always correct since most pages are unlocked to edit, but it's just a quick way to find anything and usually there are sources at the bottom that support the article.

It's pretty funny when you find something on an article that's totally wrong, though. blink.gif

haha yes which adds to the excitement!
Sometimes I read them and I feel bad that people could have read them and actually believed it!
Similar to most things in life, you've just got to use common sense when using wikipedia.

In a Critical Thinking class I had this past summer the professor marked me incorrect for answering true to a question that said that Wikipedia is as much of a good source as this search portal that only has articles that professionals have edited etc. I thought the question was a matter of opinion so I answered it how I felt it should be answered. When she went over the results she said that we could challenge her if we feel that a question was not graded properly so yeah I did. The lesson included a week of analyzing the quality of a source so I argued that wikipedia has the potential of being a great source and that by using the method explained in class we could determine the quality of the individual page on our own. Yeah I got my points back! :]

Princetonreview.com is a nice website if you are entering college or are thinking about careers. Another fun thing to do is go to the website for your county's criminal records and search for people. hah craigslist.org is nice too. It has everything! Treehugger.com is cool to read about tips on going green. Find whatever you're interested in with Google and then read about it.
