Kay, so I don't know much about phones besides that they're pretty and you use them to call and text and stuff.
 I'm getting a new phone soon and I'm kind of stuck in between these two:Sony Ericson s500:  Sony Ericson z750  Anybody have those phones? What do you think about them? |

Off of looks, I'd say the first one. But, then again, the keypad looks all clumpy and small. You might want to take that into consideration if you have big thumbs.

which has the better talk time?
i think the first looks a lot better. i know someone who has a similar phone to the second (with the cool screen).. but it's not that great, imo. do you text? pick whichever one has the better keypad. just read reviews on cnet like a mofo. cnet gives the first a 7.6/10, the second a 7.3/10. |

If that's the case, I'd get the 2nd one. |

Ahhh I decided get neither. I got one the w580i instead. It's not here yet though.
 Apparently the pink is shitty, so I got the white. It looks almost the same as the s500. :3

I actually considered the SE S500i, but I heard that the first batch (up to week 31 or 41 or something) all have keys cracking. I don't know anyone who owns the phone -- well not that I know of as of right now -- But there have been numerous comments. You should research up on it.
The features of the SE S500i and the SE W580i are the same. The S500i is VERY SEXY, but it'll be a waste of $300+ if the keys cracked and you're not under a warranty (about 28 days or something) anymore. It is also said that the keypad of the SE W580i tends to crack as well. I know two people who have this phone and neither has had any problems with it, but they've only had the phone for about 2 months. Anything can happen in the next few months. The z750 looks boring. It's nice and shiny, but like I said it doesn't create a statement. ALTHOUGH this is a 3G (HSDPA) phone. If you want to stream videos and do all that high speed data stuff on the phone, it's a nice addition. The specifications are practically the same as the S500, but it has 3G. Hmm.. Also I'm a little surprised, considering you got those pictures from gsmarena (or google, which leads you to gsmarena) and you can find a review on the s500 on gsmarena, along with comments and compare specs of both. Sony Ericsson S500 review by GSMArena - no gsm arena review on the z750, but it didn't have good ratings on the specs page. |

Oh, yeah Christina. I got a little lazy with the comments since most of them were really unhelpful like, "OMG THIS PHONE LOOKS COOL I WANT IT OMG." I actually ended up getting the W580 and I'm pretty satisfied with it. :thumbsup
