I've been looking around for a REALLY good quality curling iron, and haven't been able to find any. Anyone have any recommendations? I'd say.. $80 tops... but maybe that's a bit ambitious for a good quality curler.

Conair? That's what I use. They have nice curls.

Depends on what type of look you want to achieve. Small curls, wavy hair, big curls? But brand-wise, I use Conair for curling, too.

I use Revlon curlers. It's not that bad. But my hair has a hella hard time getting curled..it always goes back to straight :(

I use the 1" Infiniti by Conair. It works well and my hair curls well with it and is only about 25$

Conair curling irons suck balls.

Use Hot Tools. It might dry your hair a little, but the curls will definitely stay.

That doesn't sound like a very good compromise.

I don't have any specific recommendations for your price range per se... but I use a straightening iron to curl my hair and have found that that works better for me than an actual curling barrel does.

Strangely, for my friends, the cheaper curlers seem to work a lot better than the expensive ones. I say try to go for conair or Revlon.

I've seen some girls using portable curling irons that use some sort of gas? blink.gif
