So the boyfriend and I are coming up on our one year anniversary. What should I get him? (I was thinking about getting him tickets to the Nets but the good seats are $200 bucks a pop!) Anyhow, I got him this black, zip-up wool jacket that looks something like this. I don't know if I should call that his christmas gift or his anniversary gift.

Do girls even give anniversary gifts? Haha.
I'm just looking for any ideas at all. (from guys, girls, anybody.)
Would basketball tickets be good? Even if they're not front row, midcourt seats? Heh.

I would think that basketball tickets seem more like a birthday gift. You can can get him like a wallet or a watch. Those are what people usually get, or cologne if you think you can get one that'll smell good on him or one he likes.

I've never bothered with anniversary gifts. Seems a bit daft to me unless you're actually celebrating the date you got married...

How thoughtful, I don't even think to give anniversary gifts. I just like having his presence there. If it were me, I'd probably do something active and not sit there to watch a basketball game. I'd think to go on a week's vacation, or something like that, if possible.

Well seeing as you are young and what not I'd say dinner and sex. He must pay for the dinner though! Although this may sound perverted, think about it, you basically have to pay for nothing and he has to pay for everything. In the end the both of you get happy at the end of the night eh!

I give Josh gifts we kind of combine ours as a Christmas/anniversary because we see each other over our anniversary and not Christmas..and well our anniversary is 6 days after Christmas

So what do you give guys for a 2year anniversary *thinks*

Haha!
Well, The anniversary is 10 days after Christmas. Becks, I'm still debating about stuff so any comments help. I'm sorry about your fix. You could always get him ONE big thing.
Jeanna, I thought about it, but he actually prefers sex over BJs [which is pretty ridiculous].
Anyhow, dinner + sex. Maybe, but that can't be considered as THE GIFT. That's like...expected.

John writes me a song every year, and every year it makes me cry.

So, if you have musical abilities you can write him a song. I have always liked the homemade gifts better than store bought ones. Although, I do like the wii he is getting me for Christmas :)

for my one year we didnt exchange gifts... we walked in the dark, went to the park where we had our first true night as a couple, had strawberries.
it romantic that way. and it was just us, celebrating us. :)
i would give anything store bought as the christmas gift.

anniversary gift should be handmade if there is one.
