i know i'm only 16 and it wouldn't be any time soon but like in the next few years, i totally want a baby! is that weird? of course i'll make sure it's with someone i love but i don't want to wait forever like until I'm making a million dollars, mean then i'd have to wait until i was like 30 and i want a baby soon. plus who actually waits until they are ready? doesn't it just happen? what do you think?

Good luck with that

But if I was you I'll go to school and get myself together first. I think 25 is a good age to have a baby. Make sure you're financially stable. Taking care a baby isn't easy, and make sure you're married, and being a single parent is even harder.

Thinking about a baby now at 16 is kids rushing things. :/ just don't tell you bf most guys hate hearing things like that from their gf until they know they're ready for one. I wouldn't be ready for a kid right now. Lol I'm still a kid. And so are you. :x

OH MY GOD. ROFL!

you know, my best friend had a child when she was 16 and swore she was going to have a wonderful life with the baby's daddy. you know what he did when he found out? HE LEFT, denied the baby but when it popped out and it looked exactly like him, he turned everything around and swore he would take the baby away. i doubt you'd be any different.

please open your eyes and get a pet instead..

when will you be on maury? inform us when you get the news

oh and she didn't even graduate high school. she's working three jobs, if she can even keep them, and she wanted the baby just like you.

You want a baby outside of marriage? The guy will probably end up leaving you for someone else. It's no fairy tale with a happy ending. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you should have a baby with them. You're 16, you can't even support yourself. From what you have said, you;re thinking you want a baby before you're financially stable? Good luck. Have fun feeding off of the government's money.

I want to have kids before I'm 30, although I want to be married and done with school and have a job before that happens. _smile.gif

Do you have any little brothers or sisters? Do you know how much effort and hard work it is to take care of another human being? Or well a baby?

I don't think shes a slut or stupid or whatever shes assuming, just I don't know if you know how big of a responsibility it is to have a child and manage life with a child.

Its a lot harder than you think.

My mom had my brother when I was *thinks* 13 and me and my sister pretty much took care of him the whole time while my mother sat on her ass and ordered us around about how to do things. It wasn't easy, it was very nerve racking, tons of headaches from crying and trying to get him settled. Also you just can't carry on life the same way, like you can't just go out and do the normal things you have to change the way you go out and do things and being prepared for anything that could happen.

i'll call her out saying she's not very wise lol.

liana, trust me. i was by my friend's side during high school and you do not want to live that life. you won't care what anyone else says because you already have this dreamy unrealistic view on motherhood. become a mother to a stray dog or something you won't ruin your whole life on.

Oh yea and to add,

My mom had me and my sister when she was 16 and 17 years old and shes not the best role model. She ended up not really taking care of us and was very dependent of others. Which made me and my sister that way when we grew up until we had some sense knocked into us. Its not a good lifestyle and she never got to finish school because of it and now she doesn't even have a job and she uses people all the time to have places to live and stuff.

Oh yea my mom had an abortion as well. I lost so much respect for her and didn't talk to her for a while.

Each one of my mom's kids has a different dad, so my sisters dad is like off in some other state and doesn't really have anything to do with her and my brother's dad..my mom lives with him currently and they have visitation rights but my dad is trying to get custody for him even though its not his kid ( he was led to believe it was his kid for a year and half though >_>)

If you're hoping to have one some years from now, then I guess that's not bad.

Just please don't turn into that 14-year-old girl on the Maury show that had sex in public with an elephant load of guys.

My favorite shows are the ones where the girl is so sure he's the dad. She's all cussing him out, all up in his face, saying she is 500000% sure that he is the father.

And then it turns out he isn't laugh.gif Bitch isn't talking then, hahaha.

Babies are cute, yeah. But so are puppies. And then they poop everywhere and throw up all over the f**king place... and you want a baby that screams and screams and pitches a fit and throws up even more and poops out Wisconsin? AND not even a husband to at least have a little legal responsibility to take care of the kid? Damn.

Try babysitting. But instead of just one night, spend a whole week in the house with just you and the baby, and see how much you love children after that.

Oh, yeah. And then babies grow up.

I couldn't have said it any better. Babies are so expensive. 20 is a good age too. I think you need to explore the world on your own for awhile though. Finish college, hang out with friends, and get drunk biggrin.gif. Grow up a little and mature a lot. Then have kids.

Well, most of us do want children before the age of 30, as do I! We just have to keep in mind that raising a child isn't a walk in the park...especially when we're still children ourselves. I mean, I can't wait to have my first child, but I'm going to until I'm 25ish? mellow.gif Love...pregnancy, these things shouldn't be rushed.

You need to wait until you can care for the baby properly. Why plan on having a baby when you know you are not ready? All that leads to is a f**ked up kid and an unhappy life for you.
Not only that, but it would be harder for you to find someone to be with if the man you had the baby with left.
I can find at least 10 underage moms that will tell you you are TOO YOUNG to have a baby. You can't even capitalize your sentences but you want a humans life in your hands? I don't care how mentally mature you are until you have a steady income and a safe and loving environment having a baby is irresponsible.

My cousin just had a beautiful baby girl after finishing cosmetology school and even though she has her shit together parenting is HARD.

Have a baby, but don't start thinking about it now or you will get pregnant. Instead, find someone you know with a baby that will let you babysit for awhile, then see how you feel. Sure, they're cute, but what about the costs? Making ends meet even with a beautician degree is still going to be hell. I suggest you get married to a guy with a stable job (that you also love since OBVIOUSLY marriage is "just a ring"), set your life on track, and THEN start thinking about the kids.

My sister has been married nearly four years now to a guy she's been with for ten, and they don't have kids yet because they know that bringing a child into this world when they're not financially ready, nor adequately prepared would be the end of them.

This is just a stupid teenage fantasy. You'll feel differently when you're twenty years old, and your friends are out partying and having a good time while you sit at home with the baby because the sitter was at her school dance.

It's hard to take CreateBlog seriously with topics like these.

Man, this is why I hate CB sometimes.

Anyway, it doesn't matter to any of you if she has a baby, and I think it was pretty clear that she didn't want to have a baby RIGHT NOW.. Wow, the idea was to start discussion on whether or not any of us imagine ourselves having kids in the next few years, and everyone was just entirely focused on her situation. xD

Personally, I would choose being married and having kids than having kids outside of marriage, but that's just what I want. I know people who have been together for years and never got married, and I always wonder why they never did. I don't question it too much, though, because they both seem to be perfectly happy without wearing wedding rings. *shrug*

okay i see where you all are coming from. i should finish beauty school first, explore the world. i like the sound of that.

Exactly what I think. _smile.gif Explore, live your life. Follow your career path. Don't rush into a decision this big, only to regret it later. Because it'll be much too late for regrets.
