And Rock Band > Guitar Hero 3 (based on ratings)

But I don't know if we're going to get Rock Band cause damn my bf's been splurging on all these other games (shit, he bought 4-5 games in the past 2 weeks), so I don't think he'll buy it. But how much is it to get the game with the drums and the guitar?

Have you seen the other version of that? Made by a different company but same dynamic view. It's horrible, For me they stole the guitar and drum set idea, but just came out earlier.

Damn, I saw a review for this on G4 yesterday. It looks pretty good. And the guitars look better than the ones for GHII.

It's $170 for the 360 and PS3 version (the PS3 comes with a wireless guitar). You get the microphone in addition to the drums and guitar. The PS2 version won't be out until mid-December, I think.

I don't like the guitar... it feels so weird because of the strum... it doesn't click like the GH2 360 guitars.

I've been playing it for a couple days now and it's super fun. Especially when you have four people playing. :D

Supposedly the canned the developers from Guitar Hero II before they made Guitar Hero III. The developers got angry and developed Rock Band in retaliation.

Ohmyfrickingoodness. My mom bought it, but now we're returning it because of my dad. My dad didn't want it since it's pretty expensive, and after he bought me Guitar Heroes, he found that I only play with it like once a month ;~;

redoctane and harmonix split after gh2 and harmonix went on to make rock band...i honestly like the songs for gh3 better than all of the other games. but when it comes to gameplay gh2 has it covered.

However...and this one is big...when it comes to noobs playing, i think rock band is the better one due to all the easiness
