I kissed my boyfriend yesterday but it was nothing like what I hope it would be. He can't kiss...not insulting him or nothing but it questions me and him. Is it the chemistry between us? I don't get it.. I 'm not that even sure if I like him as much as he does. He really does like me and he is really shy with me and when we talk it seems I keep talking to end the awkward silences. He says he is shy because he likes me "a lot". But I hate not talking to him like a friend...it's always awkward for me...and not him.
I don't understand should I end it? Should I try to "teach" him to kiss? How can you teach someone to kiss?

i had a mormon boyfriend and he only kisses 1 girl his whole life. WOW did it suck. and he has a hugeee nose that would get in the way. needless to say i had to show him how to kiss and you might have to do that too. |

Hahahah, I have had this problem. My second girlfriend was a terrible kisser.
Here's what you have to do: Don't tell him he's a bad kisser. That will just make him feel terrible. He will become self conscious, and you will feel bad. Instead, tell him how you like to be kissed. Say things like, "I like it when you kiss me like this.", then immediately show him how you want to be kissed. |

It's perfectly fine if you teach someone how to kiss. My boyfriend hadn't kissed anyone when we started dating and he was a little off, but I showed him the right way and now he's a super duper kisser.

Hahahaha... he'd kill me if he knew I said this, but my boyfriend was the same way. In school, he was really really skinny and he was pretty shy, so he didn't date anyone at all. Then we graduated... and he gained 50 lbs of pure muscle. Now, no one has any idea that the gorgeous guy used to be kind of geeky-looking.
That being said, he didn't get a lot of action from girls, so when he kissed me for the first time, uhh.. it was kind of bad. But everyone's got to learn at some point, right? TEACH HIM. Kiss him a lot. Practice makes perfect. This way, you can basically train him the way you want. (That sounds so bad... but it's kind of true.) |

I think he could have been nervous. Maybe it was his first? You could have been overpowering so he couldve felt uneasy. I don't necicarilly think you should end it with him. Just give him some time to catch up to you.
As far as the "sparks" you can still like someone without if feeling great everytime you kiss. |

I had the same problem when I first kissed my boyfriend.
He'd never had a girlfriend before, so he was pretty awful.Haha. I helped him practice, though.  So, yeah, you just have to...help him out a bit. :] |

well my first kiss sucked..and it never got better. neither of us knew what we were doing. and that relationship didnt last at all. but then i met a new guy, he was okay...but he had no clue what to do with his tongue and once i figured it out he still didnt followmy lead at all. and then we ended up breaking up because i screwed him over (completely regret it but yeah) and now i'm going out with another guy and he's amazing
