Aw I hope he's okay! Car accidents are really stressful. I suppose if you were a really good friend, you could get him a new car...

Aldo depends on how bad the damage is. Yea he's lucky he's got insurance. Some people have 1-way insurance (not going to explain, but you know the dealio), and some don't even have insurance. You acn't really comfort him, except that at least he's safe and if the car he hit isn't a luxury one (akak lexus, acura, bw2, mercedes, infiniti, etc.), then it's not so bad. lmao.

My brother-in-law got rear-ended by a truck (not a semi, just a regular truck/car thing) and he drives a PORSCHE 911 Turbo (I think it's 2004). Yea, the damage costs the guy who hit him $25g's. That's $25 k, foo! The car was like, $76k bought used, so yea. The damage costs 1/3 of the car's price. Sucks for the mofo that hit him. _smile.gif And even worse -- We all know that porsches have the engine in the back, nd the trunk in the front. sad.gif

His car insurance premium is going to go through the roof and he'll be paying for it for the next 5 years. You can comfort him by telling him to pay attention to the road and not drive so stupid.
