Does anyone know how to track AIM screennames?

Because I am on my second stalker from my high school now. It's quite interesting.

My first stalker was this chick who I never met in my entire life, but apparently memorized my outfit every day and talked about me with her boyfriend (now ex). I found out later through her boyfriend, but she already moved to Singapore.

So, I really need to find out if there's a way to find out a screenname's IP or some other information from just an AIM screename.

Eek, I wish I knew. But I'm not sure. There probably is a way...
Stalkers suck big time. Good luck with all that, Michelle.
Atleast you have Steven to protect you.

If you can trick him/her into establishing a direct connection with you, you can use one of these methods:
http://www.tweakxp.com/article37121.aspx

or, this is easier actually:
"When you are directly connected go to start > run > command (or cmd for a Windows NT flavor machine) and type in "netstat -an". A list of IPs and Hostnames will come up, these are all the connections to your computer right now, whether it be a website, or that guy you are directly connected with. Now then, the default AIM direct connection port is 4443, when you type in netstat, look for the IP or Hostname with port 4443. This is the target's IP or hostname. If you don't see one on port 4443 just look for a port that is close to that. Or run netstat before you connect and then after you connect and the only additional IP address you see should be your target's (provided you're not surfing the web at that time)."

I've gotten someone's IP from AIM before. I believe I used the second method. >:)

You could connect to them and track their IP address with a packet filter like ethereal. You would only have the location of their IP if you did that. Like that guy said above me.
