Just wondering if theres a section for rejected layouts, pics, and stuff.

if there isnt i think there should be one. and then maybe people can vote on whether it shouldve been rejected or not

There have been mayn threadsd on this and the reason why people can't and shouldn't be able to vote is people have favoritism. Not to mention that will make cB standards lower than they already are.

If we were going to make a section for rejected layouts there is no reason for us to even accept them in the first place.

actaully yes, i have seen some stuff that i myself wondered how they got accepted. one ofmy pictures got accepted and im still trying to figure out how that happened because it was horrible. then ive gotten a lot of stuff rejected which ive just wondered why if it was a lot better than the ugly pic that got accepted.

Well, mods who have access to the queue are the only ones who can see rejected stuff. Trust me, you wouldn't want to see some of the rejected things.

The subject of having people vote on what gets accepted has come up before, but the fact is not everyone on cb is that familiar with graphic/web design, people may go and vote for people that they like, and it would take a lot of time.

I know this sounds odd.

But there was a couple times i went looking for crappy layouts on purpose.

To me their is something artsy about them almost like how some people can spent 5,000 bucks on art made by a 3 year old.

I always have liked the idea of making a "rejected or garbage bin" category.

^2Not really.

I like to see the best in something that others may see the worse in.

We go through on our own. One staff member looks at different time. We don't all do a group deliberation. We have guidelines for layotus and graphics. Read them and it could probably answer your questions.

Hey I remember this idea being made up, Jusun made it up. The whole voting system.

But as Toya pointed out; after a lot of discussion it was just turned down because there is a lot of favoritism. Although usually the favoritism is towards that 100% amazingly awesome stuff.

I wouldn't see any harm is seeing thumbnails of the rejected stuff but I just don't find it necessary because most of the time its copyrighted stuff, personal pictures that don't need to be shown, completely hideous stuff, etc.
