Help support the Writers Guild of America Strike! Television writers deserve a fair cut of DVD and internet sales!

Check daily for updates on the strike

They're wouldn't be a television without writers and they deserve their fair share!

I just hope they don't dunk Heroes: Origins because of this business.
I really really wanted to see what Kevin Smith and Eli Roth were going to do as directors.

But, yeah, give writers money.

Origins is off for now. There was an announcement made a while back (the 10th Wonder podcast was talking about it).

I'm bummed that the shows might be put on hiatus as well. In fact, they're filming an alt ending for Heroes so that if need be, they can end the season in December.

The writers are due though, in my opinion.

Yeah. I'm just afraid that they're going to drop it for good - pack it in the back never to see the haunting glow of a television screen.

Oh, absolutely. Frankly, these conglomerates are trying to f**k these writers right up the ass. The new contract isn't appropriately covering any of the technologies that will be pushing in media these next few decades (i.e. the internet). I wouldn't sign either.
