Hm. I'd say my LaCoste argyle wool sweater. Its red, black, and cream and I loooove it. Didn't even buy it for myself. It was my Christmas present from my boyfriend last year, haha. I got so mad he spent that much though. =p It was around $300 (Can).

As for my job, I make $8.75/hour doing the same crap Tung does -- lmao we work at the school library.. different colleges, though. But I heard he sells drugs illegally as a side job, so I guess that's where the $1000/week comes from. Tung is going pre-med -- hopefully by the time he gets out of college, he'll be a legal drug dealer aka pharmacist.

Luckily I don't have to pay for gas -- I don't drive, lol. The boyfriend drives me. Actually, he doesn't even work and his parents give him money... *bitterness* I barely had any money when I was in high school--- only when I worked, and even then, I was hardly paid. Only after I graduated, did I finally find a "real" job, where I got paid $8.50/hour -- Express, f'sho. I hardly got any money from my parents. Only once in a while did my parents take me shopping, and even then I felt guilty for asking them, so I was always picky and I'd only get a single item or nothing at all. My jeans were usually $30/$40 max, and my shirts were like, $18 or less.

Eh.. It's nice to splurge once in a while. Maybe it's also because a bunch of us go to college and have jobs that pay really well. College lets you pick classes at any time, so if you're working during the day part-time, you can have your classes in the afternoon. Or the other way around.

But that meant that i had some catching up to do since im into fashion and my first couple paychecks went straight to clotes and shoes =O.i had 3 pairs of tshirts beacause i couldnt afford to pay 30 dollars for a tshirt back then, and thought it was crazy why someone would spend that much. I have two pairs of Chanel sunglasses that cost my bf like, $700. And four Coach purses and a wallet that cost him another $800 or so. I have a pair of 7 jeans but they only cost me $10. :D And I just bought a pair of Uggs for $130.

I don't spend that much money on clothes anymore. I mostly wear stuff from abercrombie and most of it is on sale. The most I've spent there recently was $150 on a coat.

I don't have a job (though I need to get one soon so I can get a new car) so most of the stuff is bought for me by my bf. But I also have two credit cards with $3,000 limits (how I got those without a source of income and barely any credit, IDK), an A&F credit card, AE credit card and my mom's MasterCard that has a $15,000 limit which makes it so easy for me to shop because I just swipe and don't look at the prices. VERY BAD. And when the bill comes home, my mom or my bf pays for it.

Yeah, I was a little off last week and it wasn't due to the fact with money. Money wasn't a problem, and never will be. I was "depressed" from my schoolwork, and relationship with friends, etc. When I don't have those things in mind, and I'm out, like shopping, I'm happy to know that I have money to spend on things. Maybe you need to get off your oldschool values, that your poor people parents teach you. "Money isn't everything, dear." Are you kidding me? It's 2007 hun, and everything involves money, whether you like it or not. Anyways, I'm saying that money makes people happy. Not 100% completely happy of course, but to an extent yes it makes them happy. By how much %? I don't know. Maybe 30% happy, who knows. Seriously, I've worked alot in highschool to get where I am today. Most people still depend on their parent's for support. Do you have any idea how independent I am of them? Nope. I work at the UC Davis Library as a Computer Assistant makign $9/hr. And on the weekends, I work at Nelson's Staffing Solutions, and private sector of Bank of America. I am a Data Entry Assisant making $13/hr. I make about $400-500 a week.
