On my layout my navigation links are like this navigation links

Is there any way I can keep my nav links the same without my other links looking the same? Just have them non-colored?

That's not the layout I'm using. It's just an example.

Thanks!

For The Example You Have To Edit This

CODE
.nav {
   display:block;
   color:ffffff!important;
   font-family:arial;
   overflow-x:hidden;
   text-align:left;
   font-size:14pt;
   letter-spacing: 0px;
   font-weight: normal;
   width:auto;
   text-transform:none;
   text-decoration:none!important;
   line-height:14pt;
   background-color:f38103;
   margin: 1px;
   border-left:5px solid red;
   border-right:5px solid lightblue;  }

.nav:hover {
   display:block;
   color:ff0000!important;
   font-family:arial;
   overflow-x:hidden;
   font-size:14pt;
   text-align: center;
   letter-spacing: -1px;
   font-weight: normal;
   width:auto;
   text-transform:none;
   text-decoration:none!important;
   line-height: 14pt;
   background-color:transparent;
   background-image:none;
   margin: 1px;
   border-left:0px solid white;
   border-right:0px solid black; }

I tried messing around with the colors but it didn't work. I want to keep the nav the same but have my blog links plain...no colors, no bars, just the words. Is there any way I can do that?

Did you place <style> and </style> tags at the beginning and end of that code?

It's in the middle of the code. The style tags are at the beginning and end of the layout code.

Just checking - some people just copy and paste what a user gave them without placing them within style tags.

Oh, and get rid of the "!important" next to those color attributes and see what happens.
