Funnily enough, this is exactly what a friend of mine was saying. Girls are more likely to 'fall' for someone else when they're in a long distance relationship.

Don't act on impulse. If you've been together for 18 months then who do you think loves you? This new guy is a friend, and only a friend. Try to put a little distance between you two and rekindle some intimacy with your boyfriend.

If you still want to be with your boyfriend, then stay with him. I don't think that such a good relationship is worth risking for a guy you just like. And besides, does the other guy feel the same way for you?
