Whats your opinion about life? Do you have one, or does it change frequently depending on what kind of mood your are in, what you see, what you say, the people you are around?

In my eyes no matter what i cant have one opinion on life. You always feel different about it everyday.

Well the people around me think that life is crappy and all that, but I think that too many people are afraid of death and live by the worlds standards and do and dream what the world wants[actress, musician, rich, etc.],but rather you should look foward to death as a reward for you, unless your a bad person and are afraid of death.

but that's just me...

is life ultimately pointless or does it have some meaning? there i posed the first actual question of the "debate" we're having here.

i think its pointless and anyone reading this should find the closest sharp object, bridge, and plastic bag, procede to walk to the bride, put the plastic bag over your head, and jump off while stabbing yourself.

I see life as a beautiful mix of element's each with thier own beauty and also thier own dissmay.

In such word's I say I live each day one day at a time enjoy what I am allowed by my eyes to see and embrace the joy's and downfall's of life.

I do not feel sad about the bad thing's in life as I do not fill happy about it as well in all I may be indifferent to the matter.

If life is pointless then you should stop wasting your time by protesting the war in Iraq. Life is fucking awesome, and I can't wait until the after life.

Life is meant to be experienced. Since this is what the Angels of God asked of God, to let them experience mortal life. The meaning of life is to experience life and to gain as much knowledge of life as you possibly can. With the experience/knowledge you have, that's up to you to decide what to do with it.

Life comes and go. You live your 70-80 years here on Earth, and if you're lucky maybe 80+, and do what you have to do to fulfill yourself. Make the most out of it.

When people say life is too short, they are ridiculous. How is life short? Life is the longest thing you have.

nothing in my life feels right at the moment. not my career, my relationships, my location/living situation. my life doesn't feel like my own, it doesn't resemble who i am. i daydream often of what my life should be but i have only taken baby steps.

at this stage in my life, i feel somewhat immobilized. i feel stifled by my job, my location, my comfort (which is ironically uncomfortable). i feel that i need change in order to feel inspired to be more active. i feel like i'm just killing time all the time. that everything is a distraction of sorts. i feel like i'm in a floating state, a purely physical state of existence. i haven't put my heart and soul into anything. and i feel like i haven't made anything of myself and i won't make anything of myself until i move out of dc. i want to start over, i need a clean slate, a fresh canvas. i want to recreate myself.

i've done everything that was expected of me. i've made it through college, i'm progressing well in my career, i've made amends with my family, and i've fostered close and lasting friendships. and all thats left is to find myself. i've yet to find my true passion, my true gift, my true love (ew, i'm gay). i need something/someone to put my heart into. not that i don't love my family, my friends, or my birds, but these aren't things i can dedicate my life to. school and work hasn't helped me to discover these things so i feel that i need to branch out in order to do so and thats what i plan to do with traveling/moving. i know that i must take myself out of my comfort zone and expose myself to new things, new experiences, and new people.

to sum it up, i feel that we are meant to dedicate our lives to our passions and our gifts, and i haven't begun to do so because i've yet to find out what these things are. i've been wandering and i'm just starting to find a sense of direction. and the direction is pointing on every point on the map. lol.

f**k, it's probably just this cold weather that's making me feel this way.

i heard this saying a while ago...
"The moment my father died, he looked at our family and said, "I did what I could, I accomplished and I failed, but most importantly I don't regret anything about my life as I look into the past.""

this got me thinking for a while, like if we were to die now and think about our past would we be satisfed or dissatisfied? I think everyone should live their life to the best they can today, and always look foward to a better tomorrow. I know it's a gay saying, but it's true if you think about it. Like how many times did we thank our parents, how many genuine friends did we make and take them for granted? And most importantly, how many people smiled because of our actions?
People make up life, and without people that are close and dear to us, life wouldn't be life at all.

It's like the OP said: Life changes too much for me to have one set opinion on it. I guess that I could say it's unpredictable, then.

True, true.

I just think life all depends on what one does with it, cause that is what shapes each persons life.
