I figured The Hills were fake when Elodie said yes to Heidi for covering an event and quitting that same day. I dont think she would have the balls to do that.

But if anybody has been reading perezhilton.com lately they would know that the hills are busting out the seems. I dunno how much but mostly everything is scripted.

How “real” is The Hills? Not at all!

Just like Heidi, sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Audrina Patridge doesn’t have a real job either.

Though she allegedly works at Sony BMG, that is not the case, sources tell us.

“Audrina only comes in about once a month to film,” an insider at the record company tells us.

Additionally, the show lies about where Lauren and Audrina live.

“They moved,” someone at the apartment complex featured in the show tells PerezHilton.com. “The girls come here to film exteriors and scenes by the pool. They don’t live here anymore.”

Such a sham!

Shame! Shame! Shame!

They dont even freaking live at the apartments??? how weird. no wonder their wall colors changed through one episode. it went from white to gray in a second.

ohh yea and mtv made that model seem boring.

QUOTE
Just how fake is The Hills????

Gavin Beasley, the gay boy that went on a “date” with Lauren Conrad on the last episode, is chatting with Best Week Ever about all the phoneyness behind the scenes.

Plus he’s dishing the dirt on LC, Brody and much more!

Here is our HIGHlight:

“I honestly had a really hard time talking to her - she’s kind of a conversation killer, and when the cameras are rolling, all conversation is kept firmly on the surface. She talked about how mean Perez Hilton was, and how you have to be nice to the Paparazzi so they don’t release the uglier pictures of you. I don’t know – pop culture, Red Bull, stuff like that. In fact, the most interesting thing I got out of her was that she isn’t allowed to eat ice cream because her trainer told her she can’t. What you see is really what you get with these people. Lots of fascinating discussion about “the club”, Vegas, getting drunk, Heidi is evil, and so on. The lack of depth was actually uncomfortable for me. Like, how can nothing be everything you talk about? OH, I forgot – lots of talk about Lauren’s clothing line. That’s pretty important, right?”

Ha ha ha!!!

oh yea and heidi doesnt really work at bolthouse. shes just there for show. damn does anybody in the show have jobs?

Oh yea get this. Lauren even has control over heidi and spencer's wedding !!!! She was threatening to leave and not do the third season if they filmed heidi and spencer's wedding during the season because she wanted nothing to them. !! crazy

Wow, I don't even watch the show, but I read enough tabloids to know what's going on.. the jist of it.

OMG. Sometimes I wondered which side is the truth.. Whether Heidi's stories about LC is true, or LC's stories about Heidi are.

SCANDELOUS. But then again, I learned most reality shows are fake.. =_=

EDIT - LMAO @ Jeanna's comment.

i don't get why this would be such a surprise anyway. any reality show like this is most likely fake. it's too..conventional..or something.

yeah exactly
i don't find it surprising, i find it more surprising that people are surprised this isn't real. nobody can have a normal "real" life with camera crews and fans following them around.

Lyk omigawd it'z nawt reel?! ahhh! no wayz... i best get on my 2way and let everybodies i know know about it!

Seriously, most reality shows are scripted... or at least set-up so that drama happens. I don't think many people would watch a show if it didn't have some drama element to it. Then it would be boring.

remember in laguna beach they would actually say in the beginning of the show, the situatons and everything here is real? like we should even believe that..
well they don't even do it anymore..
why are people assuming this is how they actually live?
whhhhhatever.

They are true in saying the situations are real...these people were friends with eachother, and Lauren and Heidi did get in a fight. Obviously they wouldn't live at the place they put on TV. They would have people stalking them all the time. The whole world knows where that place is. And people would walk into their jobs looking for them. Like OMG THEY HIDE WHERE THEY LIVE AND WORK?! Wtf, how many celebrities do you think just give out their addresses on national television?

Besides, you would think they would get enough money from MTV to be satisfied and not really need another job.

And I do think some parts are pretty false and scripted, but maybe not as much as they say it to be. *shrugs*.

^ True. Blah, I'm so guilty of being addicted to FAKE DRAMA!

I never really thought that The Hills was real or anything..plus the episodes aren't that good anymore anyway
