CB LiveJournal Tracker problem.. Options

I did what it said to do on the instructions and it said my LJ account doesn't exist and it won't let me make a code for my site. Can anyone tell me why it's not working because my site does exist?

The tracker only works for s1, so if your using s2 that would explain it

Maybe give it a day or something? Honestly I don't know much about the tracker, I've never used it. Although I do have to say recently we have had some problems with it not working correctly and I remember a while back someone having the same problem although I think she waited a while and tried again and it just started working

Yes I have. I use it for my Myspace profile and it works just fine. Oh well.. maybe I wasn't ment for my LJ to be tracked. Thanks any way!

Luckily, being able to generate code has nothing to do with what code you're already using or whether or not you've added the code correctly. If you're not able to generate the code at all, it's because either there's a problem with entering your information on CB, or there's a problem with the journal (which is weird).

Will CreateBlog every change the tracker so it's compatible with s2 in the future?

I've got a livejournal with a layout based on S2, and it works fine for me, so it can't be that. Also, if you've changed it back to S1 and it's still not working, there has to be another problem. I can try testing it if you'll give me a link (or like I said in the last post, PM it to me).

Livejournal Tracker - known issues and solutions;

• It says "unable to verify site, does it exist?" when I try to get the code.
  This is most often a problem with the tracker understanding S2 layouts. In most cases, you can go and temporarily change your layout style back to S1, and this will fix the problem. Then, once you get the code for your layout, you can switch back to S2. If that doesn't work, are you on a Sponsored account? We don't know yet if that causes a problem, but try moving your account back to basic. If that works, please let us know, because that will confirm the question of whether or not account types affect the tracker! If none of these solutions work for you, please post a topic and we'll do our best to help you. Hopefully in a future version of the tracker, these problems will be fixed.

If you want to change from S2 to S1, follow this link:
http://www.livejournal.com/customize/switch_system.bml

Then once you finally get your tracker code, just go to the same page again and go back go S2.
