Yes dromero986 and NvieDi3ai3yGrL, being raped was pretty scary and what's worse is that it was by my boyfriend who I thought I could trust. But I think it has worked out for the better because it forced me not to be so trusting of men and to set my standards higher. After the incident, I have never been with a guy who didn't have the deepest respect for me. I wouldn't date just any guy, I made those who were interested work very hard for my affection and only dated those who were worthy. And it paid off because now I'm with a guy who truly loves me and who I can trust (well, more than anyone else). I still have trust issues, but it's getting better with time.
