this reminds me of this morning, my mom couldn't open a jar of antipasto. so in the end, she ended up stabbing a hole in the lid and pouring it out, harharhar. and i usually can't open simple things like bottled water or pop cans because i don't want to ruin my nails. i always have to get someone to open it for me :(.

Ahh, I hate that. I always complain about how it won't open after trying to open it for like five minutes, and then the second I complain about it to someone, I continue to turn it and it slides open. I'm just like stubborn.gif are you serious?!

At lunch, Gardettos are the hardest thing to open. I'm careful now, because one of my friends pulled really hard and the chips went flying everywhere.

I get a damp washcloth and try to open it again with it. The cloth creates a better grip?

^But doesn't it slip easier, if its damp/wet?

Yes, I haate that. Usually, if its hurting my hand, I'll get a towel or something.

It never does for me blink.gif Our kitchen cloths are like terry, so the little threads don't slip. They're actually more slippery when they're dry.

I always use a rubber band. I just rap it around the container top and twist it off! YAY some PP&J for me! But at times, my method fails and I just leave the container there..all alone, unopened. sad.gif

I used to hate it when we got that cans with the little tab on them (so you don't have to use a can opener) and the tab would break off. Or if that happens to a soda can. I get frustrated and tell someone else to do it.

Me too and then my teeth starts to hurt. I usually stick the jar or whatever under my shirt and try to open it again. I also get a butter knife and bang on the edges of the lid <--- that always work. Comes right off.
