wow i cant believe nobody made a topic for this. But my gamestop opens at 12 again tonight to give out the reserved copies! woot. i cant wait. imma get one tonight. i wasnt originally going to get it tonight and just wait till tomorrow morning but then thoughts started popping up thinking if they ran out of halos.
so yea class went bad and boring as usual so i thought i needed a pick me up so imma go pick up my copy tonight. lol haha. i feel like a loser. anybody getting the game? but my gamertag is "zed eos acarta" if anyone wants to play tonight. |

Nah I'm not gonna, but I've been to gamestop for other midnight releases lol. It really gives one the feeling that they have a life when they see all the people there. It's like, wow, I'm glad I'm not like them. Sometimes, though, you're like, awesome! they like the game too and they look cool!

Josh and his friend Alex went to the mall and are waiting for 12..right now their watching a movie there though waiting around to get their ticket. Hmm I have a interview with gamestop wednesday >_< |

My friend got a copy at 10pm because he has friends at gamestop.
And I know a ton of people who are super excited, but its w/e. Halo isn't a big deal to me, at all. But I'll play.

Its $130 for the legendary edition, which comes with a collector's tin, I heard -- or at least that's what they showed on the review of it. :] yea there's like a gamestop 5 minutes away. It's so awesome -- that was the one we got the Wii at, during black friday! |

Psssssh, gaming nerds. I remember when the Wii came out and it was like dead winter here and people were camping out in front of Best Buy. Haha. I actually know some kids that skipped school today to play Halo.

wtf. It doesn't come with a collector's tin. T_T Oh well, the master chief helmet's still cool.

I got it at 12.
Well, actually around 12:30. We went to Gamestop at around 9, but there weren't many people around, so we went to Walmart to walk around for a bit. Then, we sat on my boyfriend's car for about an hour, before people started showing up. Which was at like, 10. Anyway, before long, there were 100+ people in line. It was pretty cool, the guy behind us was hilarious. Also, I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but the Gamestop we went to was having trouble with the Legendary cases. Apparently the packaging was shitty, so the disks were sliding out, and getting scratched. Ahh well, we got the regular copy. |

Man, what a game. I love it. I can play it for hours and never get bored. I got it on the midnight release. I was 3rd in line out of 40+ people. I stayed up the whole morning haha. I got home around 12:30am and beat it on Heroic at 6am.
Feel free to send me a friend request and we'll play. My gamertag is iRock70x7. I haven't played on that gamertag in months. When my year ran out, I just made 2 1 free month accounts, but i'll be renewing iRock in a few days so I look forward to playing some Halo with you. |
