So im kinda new, first topic thing.

okay so im a greek girl... if any of you know someone greek you know the hair problems i have to deal with. i have thick arm hair, really dark leg hair and all this stuff, its just no fun... so as i've been approaching the "okay i care" part of my life i've been faced with the problem of "how do i get rid of this stuff!!?"

is shaving really the best thing to do?

does nair actually work?

Also my mom has been sympathyzing with the problem and has offered for lazer-ing it off... o__o;; it seems like too much money and hastle

ideas anyone?

Hmm.. maybe you should try waxing? If you're going for an every-other-day thing, then I'd say shaving is the easiest. I've never had a good experience with Nair or other cream / spray-on products, but that's just me... (my skin is very sensitive >_<) so try both?

I'd totally laser, but the money adds up. But hey, if you got the money, you might as well.. After all, it won't grow back. You should try waxing. Shaving might not seem like much of a hassle, but it gets tiring after a while.

If I had the chance I would lazer. I know what you mean, I have really dark hair (sorta thick) but I just shave my legs and arms. I tryed nair and veet before but I got all thease little red bumps from it (alergic reaction maybe) and that also happened with I used veet. Waxing is another way to go, its pretty painful I guess but it gets the job done.

I've heard most countries use waxing or sugaring, so maybe there's a reason for it lol. You're lucky that your mom would let you have laser removal blink.gif

I wouldn't suggest that you shave your arm hair... I know a few girls that have done that in the past and it grows back strange. Shaving works for a lot of people (as far as other body areas go, lol). It lasts longer for some than others. I can get away with shaving my legs only a couple times a week, if that, because my hair doesn't grow back that fast or thick or anything.

You could always call up some of the places that offer treatments/procedures to get rid of hair and just have a consultation with them to get different opinions.

I'd go laser, man. A couple of treatments and the hair never grows back. You wouldn't have to bother EVER with shaving or waxing. Man. I wish I could do that.

Wax or get a laser. Shaving is temporary and grows back in the oddest ways. When you wax a lot your hair grows back finer and it takes a longer time to grow back.
